Damn, for anyone wanting a historical snapshot of 1990s OTO culture, Allen Greenfield was there too. He captured the spirit perfectly. You can do this own your own if you want. Nobody is stopping you.

But I would also caution that what you ingest, uh, tends to come up again, and again. :) Crowley's skeezy Victorian Tantra is in there with someone having lesbian sex with Babalon in the 7th Aethyr ( and received her magical name in the 2nd Aethyr.)

But, whatever. It was the 1990's and Boomer hippies and lesbians need symbolic systems too. It was a time and place.

But I can't help but notice how reading Crowley's Vision and the Voice tend to “prime” the magician into a certain symbolic register if ingested ahead of time. It is only a bug if you take it literally and call everyone else out for not having lesbian sex with Babalon. This does not make it bad, just that you are now using Crowley's symbolic system.

I'm closer to the Golden Dawn
Immersed in Crowley's uniform
Of imagery,
I'm living in a silent film
Portraying Himmler's sacred realm
Of dream reality.

I'm frightened by the total goal
Drawing to the ragged hole
And I ain't got the power anymore

...

But I can't help but notice how reading Crowley's Vision and the Voice tend to “prime” the magician into a certain symbolic register if ingested ahead of time ...

Can you explain further what you mean by this ?

I never got that into V&V . That seemed his visionary trip , I thought ones own was more significant . I read a book about it once ... well, I stopped reading a book about it once ; some magician projecting his own ideas about it . he was saying stuff like ' at this stage you will meet .... and you must .... by taking the .... ' sounded like some role play game . Why would something specific to them apply to me ?

I got more into the 'pyramids' ; the 'Enochinan Squares ' themselves

In the 'visionary' state they isolate from the 'main keyboard' and appear in their own terrain with coded various stone sides ( lapis, emerald, ruby, etc ) each has a different 'way in' and it seemed all sorts of things and worlds are going on inside of them
