I created an EP of dark ambient MANY moons ago. I've sort of wanted to have a go at it again recently.

I'm a big fan of Tommie Eriksson's project Lapis Niger, focusing on Yazidi/Draconian themes (he himself is a member of the Dragon Rouge, for many years now). The whole record feels like you are alone (yet not alone!) in some strange, faraway desert landscape at night... It's truly sublime art.

I wrote a breakdown of this record on a now-defunct Substack of mine, as it has been highly influental for my meditations in the past. I might post it here if people are interested (and if I can find it...)

Oh i heard this album before, it's truly amazing. Unique in it's use of soundscapes, some sound like a granular mix of different instruments sometimes.

Give it a go when you have the draw to it and the things are in place, my music making time keeps being postponed,
really looking forward to focus on this asap.
