Another neophyte appears

Hello everyone, I guess this would be my second introduction since I mostly lurked last time. Guessing the site's been redone since then going off the 4.0? I'm still very much a novice and I got into the occult primary due to a spirit or two entering in my life, or perhaps I should say resurfacing now that I think about it. Jury is still out on if its more than one as I'm still grappling with what it or they are exactly. Bright side it's nothing malicious or negative and seems to have been around me since a young age and I'm in my 40s now. I'm open to them possibly just being a spirit, elemental, the anima, spontaneously formed tulpa, or just anyone's guess when it comes to the unseen forces. Pretty sure everyone would have their own take on it. Outside of that I've dabbled with a little bit of sigil magic after stumbling on a video a few years back where some comic creator called Grant Morrison describe how to do it and was a bit surprised when it worked, repeatedly at that. Since then I got into pendulum dowsing, light tarot, some scrying, and even pulled off Carl Jung's active imagination once very briefly. It's not much but it's a little bit of dabbling at least. My main aim is to understand whats interacting with me on the other side and while I got bits to work off of it's still a mystery to work through.

Thank you! Yeah if I'm recalling correctly think I saw a video on his little feud with Alan Moore, whom I was slightly more familiar with, and that video of Morrison at some event is in the suggestions. Never did check any of his comics out though, wasn't much an avid comic reader outside of Spawn when it first came out.

Sigil magic is really awesome, setting up the intentions, empowering what seems as a normal image that for the one who did it carries a lot of symbolism and power rather than the mundane view of a simple image .

As far as I am aware the only thing tricky about this is distinguishing a response from them and something stemming from myself, though I also don't rule out it being some separate part of myself either. For all I know it could be something akin to the anima outwardly manifesting in ways. Don't hear much about that kinda experience but it's been a thought in the back of my mind for a few years after seeing An American Haunting. I tend to overthink things a lot so trying to center myself and pick up on subtle things is still a bit of a trail for me.

That's actually what drew me into trying the sigil spell out actually! I'm like doodling and going creative stuff as a hobby. I'm just shocked it worked so well back to back. Though I'm kinda paranoid to attempt it with anything too big and breaking its usefulness it's been having for me. Trying to build it up little bit by little bit.

I'm sure I will, it'll be better than trying to use YouTube, 4chan, or Reddit that's for sure.
