(is this the right place for this? If not please move)

A niche topic, to be sure, but maybe you came across something in your readings?

And before anyone asks, yes I have been told I have the markers, but not in my palms.

If it's real or not, I have no clue, but I do have a Familiar, most would say that's a cluepon, but to me so what, I didn't most of my life.

Only the person, not the Djinn. Mamar ibn Rashid mentions Ibn Shihab al Zuhri's work and contribution with Hadith literature.

Bumpy. I'm looking for info on the Zuhri Person, not the Hadith commentator. Most results are in Arabic or French.

AKA terms like "Majnun" (possessed), "Mamsur" (touched by Jinn), or simply "Walad al-Jinn" (Child of the Jinn).

Now, Zuhri is a North African word, may also be known with terms like "Majnun" (possessed), "Mamsur" (touched by Jinn), or simply

"Walad al-Jinn" (Child of the Jinn). This is not about regular Jinn possession, or the Qareen (but info on the Qareen is related & welcome)

I don't recall any of the major English books on Jinn having much or anything at all to say about the Zuhri. There's this paper I found whilst researching, that mentions them, but it's not much.

Also, I have a question. I recall seeing a video in Arabic, I think - about Samsama'il/Samael and the Zuhri. Are angels conjured in conjunction or utilised alongside the Zuhri by any chance?

Duplicate thread merged. Also belongs in book discussions.
Well, let me state up-front I am not an expert in Islam, outside of my niche interest in all things Jinn.

What I know least about: Samsama'il/Samael is in both Islam and Judaism a powerful Dark Angel, not a fallen angel as is commonly claimed

in Xian Angelology; which the only one of the three faith groups that believes angels can 'fall'. What possible connection he has to Zuhri, IDK.

In Islam, as I understand it, there are five angels associated with each human. The first comes 40 days after conception, but what exactly this

angel does is debated. Two Recording Angels accompany the human throughout their life, one is recording good deeds, the other bad deeds.

Also there are two Guardian Angels, one for daytime, one for night. In addition there is a special type of Jinn (Qareen) that is also connected to

the human, this Jinn's role is to be a tempter to present sins to the human. I won't go further into that, as what I personally believe is a bit

different than normal 'canon' Islam. But it's important to know that unlike the angels, Jinn have free will.

Now as to the interaction of these five angels and Qareen with the Zuhri/Mamsur it would stand to reason that they would have different roles

because such an individual is not 100% human but part Jinn. I do know that individual has a different relationship with their Qareen, but what

the differences the five angels would have because of that I do not know.
