[Opinion] Are Physical Objects Actually Thoughts?

Let's not forget that we are made of matter as well, not just of mind.

It all comes down to how we look at it and define the words I think.

The way I see it, the substance of Matter that is foundational to all the different subatomic particles is essentially all the only "stuff" that exists. The Mind is an effect produced by the complex interactions of that Matter. Energy and the fundamental forces explain our observations of these interactions, but aren't different "things". Thoughts, in the normal sense, are high level patterns which emerge from sufficiently complex matter. If we use the word thought to equal mind, then from this perspective I do think thought/mind and matter are equal.

In much the same way, the seemingly contradictory statements that 99.999% of the universe is empty space between particles, and that 0% of the universe contains empty space because it is entirely made up of uncollapsed wavefunctions occupied by particles, are both seen as completely true and supported by science depending on the persepctive and model you're using.

This line of thinking, true or not, can be practical. If we understand that all of existence is one interconnected substance, that space and time are an illusion produced by the current complexity of the substance in the universe, then there is nothing standing between us and the spirit we would summon, the rain we hope to manifest, our experience of union with the one or whatever else one might want to accomplish. We can only stand in our own way. There is no spoon.
