Hey everyone, i just found this website and im interested in studying magic on a scientific level. But before i do anything practical i do not want to do anything that is dangerous towards myself out of ignorance. I may soon be writing my own theories of magic(k) on here as they develop. Currently i find that magic has a strong parallel with hypnotism and if we want to bring physics into it i would say quantum entanglement specifically would be the main area. Of course geometry would be included as planets do form patterns and i believe that everything in this universe we live in is interconnected. Currently my grounding philosophy i stand on is mentalism and basically what i mean by that is that i view both the physical and metaphysical under the umbrella of consciousness. I also view the world currently as having only one mind with the illusion of many minds. Some have said we do not have free will but i disagree and say there is one will which means theres one direction which all inevitably follows. This would mean that all individual pieces of this mind attribute to this one direction, one will, or one mind.

I hope to have some good discussions with you guys soon and i have a very open mind to accepting different perspectives on how you view the world and your own theories of magic. Although our views may align or differ it does not matter, because none of us really have a strong established bridge to the unknown.
