The first book of the Lemegeton (the Lesser Key of Solomon): the complete catalogue of the 72 spirits, each with its rank, legions, office and seal, together with the ritual framework itself. This includes the Circle and Triangle of Art, the lamen and metal seal, the conjurations by the divine names, the constraint of a resisting spirit, the general curse known as "the Spirits' Chain", and the licence to depart.

Transcribed diplomatically from Sloane MS 2731, not from any modern copyrighted edition, with [?] marking uncertain readings and the facsimile shown beside every page. Public domain; my transcription and translation are CC-BY 4.0.
