In the history of virtually every culture there are spells that make use of all our bodily fluids in Magic

Including the amniotic fluid inside a pregnant womb, spit, semen, tears, urine, feces, head hair, pubic hair, and nail clippings. However, due to taboos surrounding menstrual blood, semen, and urine in some urban cultures, the use of these particular body fluids in spell-casting can be problematic for those unfamiliar with the larger history of folk magic. Bodily fluids for tools of magic, the singling out of menstrual blood, urine, and semen is most rationally approached on the basis of their intended effect.

In folk-magic, menstrual blood, semen, and urine are straightforward tools of spell-casting and the knowledge of how to deploy them is routinely passed from one family member to another. Blood and Semen are generally used for love and Sex spells with great effect. The power of the life force comes into play making the ritual more potent than any ingredients on earth.

Human Blood

Some sources of blood are considered to be more powerful than others. Human blood is identified with the soul and carries the greatest power. Possessing a few drops of a person’s blood gives a Caster power over that person or enables the magician to harness that person’s emotional state. By the principles of sympathetic magic, a person may be bewitched or cursed. The blood of executed criminals is said to be a powerful protector against disease and bad luck because of the energy of resentment and fury that is released on execution. Spectators at public executions such as beheadings sought to obtain the victims’ blood on handkerchiefs or bits of cloths for later use in magical rituals.

Human blood also is used to seal pacts of oath and brotherhood. During the European witch hunts of the Inquisition, it was believed that witches signed blood pacts with The Devil to pledge servitude and obedience to him. The magical power of a witch could be neutralized or destroyed by burning her blood in fire hence the common European method of execution by burning at the stake or a practice called blooding. The witch was scored above the breath (the mouth and nose) and allowed to bleed, sometimes to death. Human blood was believed to strengthen the foundations of buildings, and sometimes sacrificial victims were walled up in temples, forts, and other structures.

Menstrual Blood

In folklore – if someone consumes even as little as a drop of a woman’s menstrual blood, that person will love her passionately forever. It is the ultimate binding ingredient, the most powerful love charm of all.

Menstrual blood is the single most potent magickal ingredient. In addition to love spells, it’s used for healing, protection, and banishing.

A classic love potion can consist of one single drop of menstrual blood. It is the mode of administration that is important. Allegedly, a cup of good strong coffee is the vehicle of choice. The best alternative is a glass of red wine. Tomato-based sauces are also used, if only because they make an easy camouflage.

Menstrual blood has a long history of being feared by men, and many were against associating with, touching, or having sex with menstruating women, for their blood has the power to harm. Ancient Romans believed the touch of a menstruating woman could blunt knives, blast fruit, sour wine, rust iron, and cloud mirror s. In the Old Testament, Leviticus 18:19 states, “You shall not come near a woman while she is impure by her uncleanness to uncover her nakedness.”The Talmud instructs that husband and wife are to be sexually separated during menstruation and for a week later to ensure cleanliness.

Vaginal Fluids

Women who are not menstruating due to pregnancy or breast-feeding or who have had surgery that terminated their cycles, or who have experienced the menopause, obviously do not have menstrual blood to use in sex or love spells. Their best alternative is to use vaginal fluids gathered after masturbation during a full moon, Orgasm can generate the desired energy to great effect. In hoodoo and Sicilian folk-magic, vaginal fluids make a good substitute for menstrual blood in coffee or tea love spells.

Urine

In Voodoo, urine is often called “chamber lye” or “water.” It is one of the oldest root work traditions for a male gambler to have a female lover urinate on his mojo bag or lucky hand while he is at play. If the gambler and his partner can retire to an alley to perform the act while the game is in progress, so much the better. This is called “feeding the mojo,” and the use of the word “feed” is, of course an indicative link to Africa thought, from whence this custom derives. Women players rarely ask a man to urinate on their mojo hands, so, for whatever reason, it is female urine that is considered lucky in this case.

Urine is used in women’s coffee and tea love spells, as a quick substitute for menstrual blood, when the intention is to tie or bind a lover. This is particularly common among young women or the elderly who are too old to have menstrual periods, and among pregnant women. Men also can drop urine in a drink to tie a woman, although this is not so common.

Numerous folk magic remedies are based on urine. Boiling a person’s urine helps determine if and how bewitchment has occurred. The victim’s urine is then used to effect cures, usually by boiling, baking, burying, or throwing it into a fire. “Witch’s cakes,” containing urine and other magical ingredients, once were made to treat a host of ailments. In the early American colonies in the 17th century, witch’s cakes were used to treat smallpox. Ingredients included rye, barley, herbs, water, and a cup of baby’s urine. It was fed to a dog, and if the dog shuddered while eating it, the patient would recover.

Semen

For every man who uses his semen to attract or control a woman, there are many women who “steal” a man’s semen to control him or at least to keep him faithful. Semen can be fresh or gathered from another way (use your imagination) However it is important that the woman does not have intercourse or orgasm when “capturing” semen, because then she might get “mixed up in her own spell,” and fall victim to her own conjurations.

All bodily fluids can be taken and frozen until they are required. However; please be aware fresh ingredients DO make all the difference. You do not want the fluids to rot in any way and preserving in any form cannot guarantee freshness. Rotted fluids could equal decay and render your spell results – disastrous.

Hair

Hair is associated with strength, and in folklore magical power is bound in hair. Shaking hair increases the power of a spell; cutting hair diminishes magical power. Pubic hair is considered an especially potent ingredient in love charms. Nails have been associated with demons, who can live under long nails and unkempt nails. For centuries practices have existed for the safe disposal of hair and nail clippings so that they cannot be used for magical purposes. Ideally, they should be buried, according to Zoroastrian lore from the mid-fifth century b.c. aleister crowley secretly disposed of his hair and nail clippings throughout his life so that others could not use them in magical spells against him. In some folklore, hair strands from a brush are buried, never thrown out.

Feces

A feces spell is to totally destroy someones life. This type of spell can cause serious illness, removal or even death. You must be absolutely certain that the intended target deserves the punishment you are about to give them, you cannot have any doubts or reservations.

An example of spell work in regard to feces

On a piece of paper write the reasons why you wish to harm or break an unwanted bond. The more selfless the list, the more promising.

You will generally do this sort of spell to create destruction and you will need a piece of parchment paper and ink of choice; write the persons names on it. Take the paper and smear the name with feces. The paper is disposed of in the toilet, pile the rest of the feces onto the paper and flush away.

If you need to break up a couple, write both names on the paper, cut in half and dispose of as stated above. This simple, effective spell is POWERFUL and not to be used unless you are certain the person deserves all the wickedness that will come to them.

Any fluid or clipping from a person alive or dead will add potency to your spell work like no other ingredient. But REMEMBER – the more powerful the spell, the harder it will be to control if you do not perform the spell correctly. It is therefore absolutely essential you educate yourself and plan ahead for any ritual you wish to conduct. If you follow the correct methods precisely , you should easily achieve the accurate results you desire."

Was about to add this thread but it's already up here :)

With regards to the last "ingredient": Crowley famously used it in his cakes of Light, and in the book on love magic that I recently translated (Liebeszauber - Magus) it is also mentioned as being used in love / obsession magick. Who knew!
