I have been working in creating a Cult to Ares as it says in the Aurum Solis books so I can do the God Form ritual and I am currently balancing the Elements as well, I have an imbalance in my hormones thanks to psychiatric medication, it really lowers my Testosterone and Ive been working with my Dr for like 4 months already tampering down the medication because Im going off it.

I think my T is rising again, for example my libido is back, I am less lazy so I am working out 6 days a week, but I notice I am also getting more agressive, like explosive agressive, recently I bought supplements like Boron and Tongkat Ali to help with my T and I totally think is working, but there it is the agresivity issue I mentioned so I started today to work with Water Element hoping to be more cool in any situation where I could get angry, according to Aurum Solis the Magus must balance the 4 Elements so I think is a good start that I started Invoking Water and Banishing all the other Elements, in this tradition is recommended to Invoke each Element for one week and that will start to balance them, I really dont know a lot more on how can I balance myself, I am doing a meditation involving water that I saw from a Aurum Solis book before my ritual, I have a poem for the Water Archon (Guardian) that I recite before my full ritual.

Any help will be appreciated, thank you.

To be perfectly honest, I do not feel that a simple invoking / banishing ritual will really balance your internal elements in any appreciable way. Of course, to each their own if you disagree and I totally respect that. But in my experience, internal elemental balance is a tough cookie to crack and requires a lot more than a few weeks of ritual. Personally, I think you are doing a great job addressing the physical level of the element (e.g. your T) with supplements, which probably helps to increase the fire element with you. That is one part of the overall puzzle.

A great system to look into is Initiation into Hermetics by Franz Bardon. As I understand it, you can still believe in your traditions (i.e. Aurum Solis, Cult of Ares) without needing to give up on them with his system. It is designed to be superimposable on any western magical system that is compatible with the 4 elements, 7 planets, and 12 zodiac signs. The main value here, in relation to your question, is that it precisely contains good instructions for elemental balancing over the long term and to do so in a way that is lasting rather than temporary. You can use the theoretical section and the first 2 steps to gain basic methods to help with the elemental balancing.

Based on what you described, it seems like you are trying to work with the energy of each element inside of yourself directly rather than working from an outside-in approach. This can be an approach to do things, but in my eyes it is also less targeted and less granular because you are working with the general elemental energies without necessarily having an idea of what proportion of yourself is dedicated to what element. For example, are you 30% air, 20% water, 40% fire, and 10% earth? While there is no way to scientifically quantify these proportions, Franz Bardon offers a good example through his soul mirror exercise, where you list out character traits of yourself and then classify them according to the elements they correspond to. In the end, you gain a high level overview of how much of each element you have inside of you, which allows you to begin using the work of balancing them.

As I mentioned before, balancing them is probably easier with an outside-in approach. All of the character traits you identify in the soul mirror are outer expressions of your inner elemental energies. By working to transmute certain "negative" character traits (e.g. aggression) to their "positive" opposites (e.g. tranquility), then you start to do the work of elemental balancing in a more targeted way. The main goal in this soul mirror work, is to take each negatively identified trait and transmute it to a positive opposite and reduce the negative trait's overall impact on your life. By doing this, you balance the elements inside of you in a way that will be less disruptive than simply invoking the opposite elements energy inside of you.

And the other issue with just simply invoking the opposite elemental energy for balance is that you don't even know if that is necessarily the correct way to balance the problematic element. For example, aggression is an expression of excessive fire energy within you, but the true opposite of aggression might not just be the water element energy contrary to what you expect. The positive aspects of air and earth energies can also be very powerful ways to counteract aggression, depending on what the aggression actually is. In your case, due to the recovering balance of hormonal levels, your aggression is biologically sourced. So the calming and flowing aspects of water are a good choice, but you can add even more into this by considering the grounded presence of earth energy in order to tether that aggression. In the soul mirror world, the trait of aggression itself could be counteracted by working to transmute it to inner grounded calm (earth) and gentleness (water). The risk of invoking water (and / or earth) energies through a ritual, in bulk, is that these energies will also touch the "negative" sides of the elemental characteristics within you. Water can also increase melancholy while earth can increase stubbornness, which can lead to more complications than balance.

If you decide to go with Franz Bardon's perspective in Initiation into Hermetics, look to his information on soul mirrors (step 1) and the suggestions that he makes for character balancing (step 2). He gives several methods in step 1-2, which directly facilitate this internal alchemy such as the following: "conscious breathing / eating", "the magic of water", and "auto-suggestion". You can read on these and do further research in the Bardon community to see the ways these methods can be effectively used together. You would not call these specific rituals either, but practices that facilitate the elemental balance you are looking for. The process takes longer, but results in a more permanent stable balance than the simple invocation of raw energies. It has worked pretty nicely for me and maybe it might do the same for you.

Thank you for your reply, I have heard that some of Franz Bardon´s material is wrong regarding Elemental Spirits and other stuff, so I was wondering could the Elements be wrong as well? I cant really remember what I saw about Bardon being wrong, but is like he probably introduced some blinders on his work so only maybe his students knew the real deal, thank you.
I actually liked Initiation into Hermetics, but I never finished reading book 1.

Those systems with four elements alwys seemed a bit limiting to me (certainly respectable though, given the popular alternatives). It leaves a lot of hanging variables. Water is not always calm of the light rain, it's also violence of a surging current and crushing malice of the depths. It's among many things an element of change, chaos and momentum. Can you really imagine calm thinking of the sea?

Yes I understand this, in the Aurum Solis when I Invoke the Guardian of Water Element I have to understand that her waters temper our psyche as waters temper hot steel, that is a key understanding of the visualization of the Water Guardian known as Archons, and to my begginers understanding its very opposite to the never ending fire of Zeus which is associated to the Fire Archon, also Ive always been a hot head, I hope Invoking Water can cool me down.

Or drown you. That's the problem with elements, they are not one-note in terms of affect. I notice it's also not clear whether you should try to quench your fire or work with it to direct and tame it, since you say it's a part of your nature. I guess you know that already, but another matter is that this imbalance is biochemical and not spiritual in root, so most you can do with your mind is manage the symptoms until your body adjusts.

According to the current Grand Master of the Aurum Solis he explains that the idea behind Invoking or Banishing Elemental energy is to balance it in yourself, that would be the work of the magus, to have the Elements in balance within, and as I feel right now, my Fire is obviusly stronger, I was thinking in doing maybe 2 weeks of Water Invocation and then maybe 1 week of Air and 1 week of Earth so they are stronger, but leave Fire with out Invoking.

I question his authority on those matters. I am yet to question his insight, though. I don't think I should try to sell you on a better system, but I'd feel free to question, theorise, introspect and experiment on what works and what makes sense. Ironically, this is exactly what the water element ultimately is about.

Well he is the Grand Master of the Aurum Solis, he is also high ranking member of various Freemason branches and he is also a high ranking member of the Kabbalistic Order of the Rose Cross in France, I think he really knows what he is teaching, I have 2 of his Freemasons books and they have Egyptian Magick with Elements as well, and I think is the same logic he use, to balance the Elements.

@Edu It is hard to say what is "wrong" and "right" inside of an occult context. In his 2nd book, he does take some creative liberties with certain spirits such as his Earth Zone spirits (i.e. the Abramelin spirits), but I never really heard much about there being issues with the elemental spirits section.

As for blinders, the only one I can think of which could count is at the end of step 2 where he talks about the necessity for elemental balance before going to step 3. He doesn't exactly define what a true end point is for the balancing work in step 2, so some people think that it should take years in order to do a single step. Lots of people in the community feel this is inaccurate and that it should only work on controlling your worst imbalances.

We can't say if we got the real deal and we can only work with what we have. Of course, there are other ways to go about balancing the elements and Bardon is just one. But balancing the elements, at least to me, is a bigger endeavour than a few weeks worth of work and there are dangers with invoking generic raw elemental energies into yourself to oppose your own imbalances. The energies do not discriminate in how they affect you. So even if you do not prefer Bardon, I feel the best approach is to always take a granular approach and be more targeted in your balancing.

I don't doubt his initiation has granted him access to many insights. That being said, a lot of occult hierarchies are not exactly based on insight and Masons do have some history of being, forgive me, full of sh*t up to the very top. Don't misunderstand me, I'm not trying to change your beliefs or something, I'm just saying that I'd trust reason more than authority on those matters.

Yes, reason is important, but I have studied almost only Aurum Solis material, my vision of Elements is narrow, and I think they are very good school, like they tell people that they are a little different from other traditions, for example I have read their Tarot book and yes, their interpretation of the Tarot is different from other systems Ive seen, and actually I like that, that they are unique, a lot of people uses the Golden Dawn stuff but Aurum Solis is different and I am ok with it.
Thanks for your answer, maybe you can tell me what kind of traditions are you in :D

I think it's a good tradition, don't get me wrong. Quite a lot of very sound, healthy ideas, in my opinion.

In terms of big-picture stuff I'm in the process of initiation into a certain path of Christian arcana. Truly groundbreaking, I must say, the rituals involved are often simpler and incomparably more potent than anything I see attempted or practiced here. For sorting out more petty, internal affairs I sometimes use a unique system that partially came to me in a dream.
