Yesterday my Wife and I were at the local library (we're Friends) and it's a Cool Library! So... while she chatted up the staff, I went foraging for Sustenance!
Seemingly without even trying I walked around the corner of an aisle and was confronted with a bunch of videos of some BBC Time/Life programs of William Shakespeare, digitally remastered video and sound! Well, these were broadcast apparently during the 1970's / 80's in the UK. I read a fair amount of Shakespeare in high school (Involuntary) English Literature, and college (Voluntary) because I was sucking up Culture! I chose two of them for after dinner.

Yep, "A Midsummer's Night Dream and... the Tempest", my Favorites. Someone else apparently snagged Macbeth or I'd have gotten it too, got the next request to hold it though! What's cool about these is that I've read the stories and these claim "Word for Word" as written by Shakespeare, they're Real Well Done too! If you dig Shakespeare look around for these! ;)

For what it's worth the Scripts of these productions are available for download according to the back of the box, haven't tried it though. I did find a Mint condition copy of the Shooting script of the two part Merlin mini-series at one of their clearance sales, I was going to buy it but they gave it to me for Nothing! Yes, having Friends is a "Good Thing" to quote Martha Stewart. ;)
