I have a ritual in which I connect with the Higher Self, shower in Light of it and bless myself after the meditation exercise, but the book does not explain a lot about what would the benefits be of working and visualizing Divine Light showering you, permeating your body, and then after 15 mins of visualization, you bless yourself or you could touch a person and pass the Light to them and bless them, I mean I get the blessings, but I dont know anything more about what are the benefits of it.
Thank you.

Sounds like it's really just a simple way to partially open up your awareness between yourself and yourself-as-god (your higher self) and then leverage that to give you luck or some similarly influenced by mindset benefits. It works because there is no separation between yourself and your higher self other than what you perceive to be separate. It's just doping your authority (or awareness of your authority) to make the manifestation of your intent more potent.

The Headless Rite is basically for the same purpose but with a modality of a Greek/Catholic sort of practice to it via calling your higher self down to your mundane self. The Abramelin ritual is basically an extended working to do the same but with more staying power. Working through the Kabbalah from bottom to top is similar except you're pulling your mundane self up to your higher self. Eastern mysticism has similar rites and principles for this.

The real difference between all the rites/rituals I've listed and yours is just the level of depth of that "realization of the lack of distinction between yourself and your higher self" takes. The stronger the working to open up that awareness, the more aware of that truth you will become on a subconscious level.

Thank you very much, I actually failed to mention that first you must visualize the aura in blue color, then the Higher Self as an orb of white light as burning magnesium, and once you have this visualizations you must think in the greatest good you could imagine, after that visualize silver light and sparkles showering from the Higher Self, permating the body and the aura.
