Bloodthirst

I am recently awakening from a torpor. I havent fed on blood in over eight years, and throughout that time I have abstained from sex and hard drugs. I am VERY energy deprived. During the torpor I passively fed off natural energy to sustain my auto pilot consciousness, but as I'm getting thirstier, the cravings are growing uncontrollable. It's not enough for the earth to sacrifice energy for me, no matter how personable it is. I require blood of humans.

So, for you sanguinarians, tell me, how do you deal with the bloodthirst?

I'm not sure what the logistics could be, but you know who'll have the exact answer for you? A psychiatrist, maybe they'll be able to get you into a uh... a bloodbank or something, yeah, with a prescription. Just go and see them, have a few appointments and tell him all about this.

no matter where the thirst comes from, the medical statement is drinking blood is unhealthy.

in that sense i would say learn to find peace with your human body and stop externalizing your hate and forget the reason for your misery.
and whether you like it or not 8 years is not 10. so you still got 2 years in the closet to heal that shit. find an other way, you are not your urge, you are way more.

buy some food coloring and paint your chocolate milk red, eat rare beef, watch the horror movie carrie and realize its not you. and fucking love yourself.
since you are already 8 years clean, i can presume youre thirsty for human fluids, try some vaginal juice or a taste of sperm. healthier and the orgasms will teach you what it means to love a human body. i can assure you it tastes better then blood.

Don't know about online groups, but if situation didn't change, there are vampire bars where vamps and black swans (blood donors) can easily meet and some of those places have private spaces for blood drinking. Don't know more about the matter.

@IllusiveOwl: normally i would half agree with the go to the doctor part. only the sad part is in sanguinarian cases that you need to leave it alone, not poke in it. and thats what the doctor does for real. so in this case i would say really bad advise.
