The Testament of Solomon comprises a family of texts, some dating to the fourth century CE or earlier, relating an extra-Biblical account of King Solomon's divinely-conferred power to constrain the demons who plague the human race. It is also, implicitly, a handbook for those bold or foolhardy enough to follow his example in the demonological sciences.

Translated here for the first time from fifteenth-century Byzantine Greek manuscripts, one such text of this secret Solomonic history has finally been made available in English. Along with the unique catalogue of spirit names, sigils, dominions, and offices found in this text - among which readers will discover some genuinely surprising characters - this edition also includes an expository introduction and annotations by the translator which situate the text within its historical milieu, manuscript tradition, and a lineage of magical and demonological theory reaching back to the Greek Magical Papyri. This scholarly analysis, no less than the evidence of the manuscripts themselves, emphasizes that the Testament in all of its forms was first and foremost a work of practical magic.

wow!! thats an amazing book. one of my favourite grimoires is this exactly, the versions of the testament of solomon. this is a a seriously underrated book but maybe for good reasons for its not very elaborative by its scarce nature. i was particularly interested as I am a deep devotee of beleth with the "Bēlet: rules 200; she is able to bring about what one wills concerning Palestine." part, which l largely already decipher as in of today in my book. i am also working with Gaap and berith, which their identity if they exist here (I am more doubtful and shocked for berith) is not clear. berith, is an easy entity to recognize for I even did in PGM whom has been corrupted as what I suspect as "balbiet" (or something like that) and elprix, so its not easy to fuck up the name of berith. gaap on there other hand, even though he has a simple name, I found him in other grimoires having three or two copies of the same entity for example (cap, haob and globas - with their unifying tie their role as "doctors / princes of women" with often a fiery element) not too mention, some magicians (without basis - that I know of!) connect him to the airy - fiery or saturnian enochian cacodemon zazoonash whom he is connected to zazel.

on a final note, I am aiming to slowly decipher each entity found here for basic attribution or to get to know the deities found therein.

I appreciate your enthusiasm but please but don't comment on the content of books or related subject matters in this section.

The book can't be found on annas-archive.org. This one was a one-off, it was donated by member and I don't have a mega account anymore, so I guess you have to wait until somebody who's downloaded it decides to share it.

Here's my standard reply to recent reupload requests:

Mega.nz has decided to terminate my account due to copyright complaints again - the last time +16 GB of books were lost, this time it's 19 GB, and I'not sure if I want to go to all that reuploading hassle yet again, either on mega or an alternative hoster, only to see my book stash posted here go down the drain again. The book sharing issue is already being discussed among both forum staff and members but in the meantime I'd like to ask you to download this book from annas-archive.org or welib.org yourselves.

Don't write on my profile or message me via DM, I'm inundated by all those reupload requests, contacting me directly will make no difference except stressing me out and annoying the hell out of me.
