I have experimented a bit with the Vajrayogini mantras from there. They are very good. If you are looking for very strong effects with it then go for the "OM OM OM SARVA BUDDHA DAKINIYE VAJRA VARNANIYE VAJRA VAIROCANIYE HUM HUM HUM PHAT PHAT PHAT" it's a really strong one though and some warn against it. Then again the stronger stuff can get the ball running faster.
You might want to look into Vajrayogini Pujas, the offering method as well.
I don't know much about making pujas nor that much about the vajrayana stuff, just the mantra work. Somebody mentioned that pujas are very effective, and another said that he ordered the service from monasteries to be done in his name

I do, by some extend, as I pratice Taoism. And Buddhism and Toaism are closely intertwined.
Sadly Vajrayana or Bon Buddhism has eluded me so far. But I would love to deepen my understanding of them.
So far I was not able to find a teacher and as far as I know Buddhism pratice and knowledge needs a Community or at least a Student-Guru relationship to thrive.

Why the specific question? Are you looking for something in perticular?
I do practice Vajrayana but most of the instructions and material in the west are whitewashed to resent a more tame spiritual side of Buddhism. In the east the magical aspect is very much alive but not so much is translated in English or other western languages. I know Lama Vajranatha offers seminars regarding magical application of Buddhism or Bon but I haven't ever ran into anyone who actually practices them.

I'd recommend getting prayer beads, your nearest esoteric store probably has something nice. Make sure they're comfortable to use. Then recite the mantra. Some people might imagine the deity or keep an image of it close.
This particular mantra is a bit wild and maybe not exactly the best to start from.
You could try though, just keep the numbers low, at least for a while.
I don't know much about pujas. You have to Google how it works.

Many would recommend starting with the green Tara mantra.
Then later Mahakala and Vajrayogini mantras.
Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha
Om shri Mahakala hum hum phat Soha
The classic too, om Mani padme hum, very good
Reciting will give very powerful effects and connect with the deity, system.
The most ideal would be to gradually increase the numbers, you will get something going.

After hum hum hum phat phat phat add soha/svaha.

I'm a Vajrayana practitioner. I'm happy to answer questions about it in so far as I am allowed.
On the whole, however, I am going to be a stick in the mud and say that just picking up random mantras is not really the way to approach it. Yeah, they can help build some energy, or whatever, but that's not really the heart of the matter. In fact, I have never met anyone who tried to teach themselves Vajrayana from the internet who wasn't basically missing the boat. One really should connect with a teacher and a lineage. Especially if one wants to get into the magical side of thing. There is just so much of philosophy/view, practice structure, and technical details that can hardly be conveyed in text.
All that said, I'm no fan of anyone holding monopolies on teachings or the like, and I'm perfectly happy to help jail-break the tech as much as possible.
