• Insurance companies always try to drop claims (they getting fucked in this one)
• Sparks from power lines could just be negligence
• Water runs out from high demand during a fire
• Diddy mansion doesn't seem to have been hit by the fires yet
• Trees are living and can be wet, houses mostly dry and easier to burn

The burned-out area is all single-family homes. This fire will result in them being replaced by corporate condos, a project that has been in development for many years with those homes being the only real obstacle. Expect similar things in Lahaina.

My hope is that the people in these burned-out places, and the other ones certain to follow, recognize that it has been done to them on purpose; and with that realization in mind, I hope they burn and destroy whatever gets built over the places from which they were driven.
