To preface, I'm not new to ceremonial magick having taken a break from it for about 3 years. I worked with the Golden Dawn style with my own flare while following Scott Stenwick's basic approach. Before I left off I was following Scott Stenwick's Path of Initiation and I had completed the first four elemental Kings Initiations before life got in the way. I also regularly worked with the Arbatel with really good results from Och and Aratron.
I got back into it about 5 or 6 weeks ago, starting small with basic LBRP, LIRP, MP before doing a month-long Solve et Coagula, layering an element each week. For example, week 1 was a Great Ritual of the pentagram with Earth in all four directions; week 2 was water in East, south and west, and earth in north; week 3 was air in east & south, water in west and earth in north; week 4 was all four elements in their microcosmic directions.
I then started the Malkuth initiation where I learned how to channel and balance the macrocosmic elements through my microcosm and how they relate to each other. Sandalphon was really interesting to work with. He was silent the first time I worked with him and my first step into Malkuth showed a large circular room with elemental wells in macrocosmic directions with actual raw, elemental fountains (e.g bubbling, running water in North) feeding into a large central pillar.
When I saw the pillar during second session, I noticed a large bend, or knot at the base and the pillar could be divided into raw elemental strands. Sandalphon spoke more and instructed me to research and understand more about how macrocosmic and microcosmic energies work and relate to each other.
The third session, when I walked into malkuth, I saw a different take when I saw the actual tree of life seen to scale as I stood at malkuth at the bottom looking up. The sephiroth were seen as platforms and the paths were glowing white/silver-blue.
The fourth session it finally hit me how macrocosmic energy just channel and flow in, with you acting as a guide rather than feeling like I have to try and control them. When I finally realised this, that was when I saw a vision of a bright golden shard, or star and realised I received the initiation.
I've been continuing to do the Ritual set on my own for about one or two weeks and had a few Malkuth reality-checks. One big one was seeing someone else get a job and then my mother making a "comment" (very bad UK Job market and I'm starting a CS degree in September). Layer in meditation I saw the whole Malkuth room and pillar encased in stone, which I managed to clear. Now the reality-checks aren't hitting as hard and I feel like everything is stabilising.
I am also working with the Arbatel for 9-weeks at the moment. I'm basically working with each of the planets for different aspects of my overall career/studies. I'm also working with a planet for as many weeks as their planetary number, so Aratron (Saturn) for 3 weeks, Bethor (Jupiter) for 4 weeks etc.
I have worked with Ophiel, Bethor, Hagith, Aratron and Och so far and they all went very well. I even already had Och (worked with last night) highlight something in my dreams that I need fix as I undersell myself in interviews/applications. It basically was a dream abput me being in an interview answering the 'target salary' question and I answered something low, like £21,000 and the interviewer started explaining that it was a low offer and why.
So things are happening all ready. Most of my operations won't bear fruit until I start university though, since that is a major area being targeted. I will update when things happen there though.
I worked on Malkuth and with Phul last night.
To explain, both are separate workings. I am working with all 7 olympic spirits for different areas of my career path. Phul's area in my career path is to help reveal hidden opportunities I might not want to miss, reveal hidden scams and help me bypass them, illuminate my profile etc.
For the Malkuth segment, where I follow a sequence of LBRP, LIRH, Middle Pillar, GIRP, Malkuth Meditation, I had something interesting happen where I stepped into Malkuth from my astral temple in meditation segment, my inner vision went completely black. I'm the type that usually has 3D immersive experiences completely with texture feedback so this was jarring. I can only assume I became so grounded my psychic vision became blind other than cone-cell receptor feedback from my physical eyes.
When I got some kind of inner vision, I was shown a massive tree of life floating in a sky-blue void and I was hivering between Malkuth and Yesod. I managed to keep myself anchored and I was inside the Malkuth sphere/room. I felt clear an balanced here and moved onto the rest of my rituals.
For the Arbatel segment, I worked with Phul, where this was the first time I had actually worked with the moon. I continued the Ritual set where I left off by doing the GIRH of the Moon, revoting the Orphic Hymn of the Moon. The first thing I noticed was how light the moon energy was. It was similar to the Sun but with a kind of whimsicalness? When I summoned Phul and vibrated the name, I first noticed how strong Phul's presence was. There was a gentleness and a kindness, but the strength of Phul's presence was something else. My left ear also immediately started ringing in a low hum, which had never happened before. I made a comment like "Huh. That's interesting, my left ear's ringing." and Phul said something along the lines of "Perhaps your gifts are awakening".
I gave my charge and I have to say, I loved Phul's energy. I think Phul might be one of my favourites. In fact, one of the things I ask for help on already kind of happened where I caught a docusign scam. I double-checked it as I had been applying for a lot of jobs bit it was kind of obvious. It's good to know the Olympic Spirits are looking after me
