I'm still learning about all types of magic , I gibe through a little high magic , low magic , thelema , now Ive met chaos magic , and people recommend reading alan Moores book

Alan moore citizens chaos magic , why would a chaos magician buy the moon and the serpent book??

Because it's a fabulous book, to start with :)

Alan has spent a long time thinking and writing about these things, and looking at magic from all kinds of different angles can provide useful insights.

You have to remember that chaos magic is something like a meta-magic - you can use the ideas of chaos magic to adapt almost any other kind of magic to match what you think would be more suitable. One of the main ideas of chaos magic is that magic requires a belief system, but it's not important what that belief system is, so you are free to choose whichever system fits best with the intent of any particular working.

As long as whichever system helps you get 'into it', then go for it!
