Book Discussion Clarification about the book - Lucifer and The Hidden Demons: A Practical Grimoire from The Order of Unveiled Faces

So I recently just finished reading Lucifer and The Hidden Demons by Theodore Rose and I have to say I am a little skeptical. Is simple path working seriously all that is required to summon these demons? He also seemed to imply that making use of altars/sigils were practically useless.
If anyone else had made use of this text, what was your experience like with it?

Your skepticism is not without ground.

If someone wants real, serious results, he must put real, serious efforts. The more efforts, the better results. Expecting merely to visualize something and it will work is nonsense and such illusion quickly shatters under any reality check.

Telling from my experience: it requires a lot of efforts to make any real contact with some Being (though some are easier to contact than others). The "Lucifer" book is based on Abramelin material with "pathworking" attached on top of it and all substance being thrown out. You might want to look at Abramelin books and book of Franz Bardon "Practice of Magical Evocation", where he touches the subject of same Spirits, which are discussed in that "Lucifer" book.

Add on top of that, the pronunciation of those names in "Lucifer" book is given totally wrong. I am not sure what is so hard about classic Latin pronunciation, I think that its knowledge is self-evident baseline requirement before approaching any work with Spirits. How can one summon Spirit without any Magic Tools and with using totally garbled names is beyond my knowledge.
