"Controversy" and the Wisdom of Solomon

I see that during my recent exile, the forum has added a "Controversy" section. Sage, that. Sage and cunning. I feel less need to vent knowing there is a venue devoted to that. Something like how even John Cleese turns bland, I am sure, when urged by friends, "Go on, say something funny!" The impulse wilts like an Edelweiss transplanted under Serengeti sun. Still and all, I'm not sure if this can be applied to society at large. What next? A "Perv's Corner" of every playground where they can flash each other?

Seriously. Some U.S. states use chemical castration on their pervs. I have just been semantically emasculated. Truly, the pen is mightier than the sword.
