The download button works for me. Not sure if mega has some limit on downloads that your IP might have reached?
Out of curiosity, I searched on Amazon. If the publication dates in the search result page are correct, this author have published more than 20 books last year. The cover art gives ai slop vibes. I am not commenting on the content of the book(s) since I haven't read anything from the author, I'm just saying the slop cover art, and the amount of books published seems fishy. There might be a reason beside ai, maybe the author gathered material for decades to then publish all their books at once? Is S. Cinnamon the pen name of a newly created collective of writers? Who knows, but it's quite off-putting as a reader to say the least.
Thanks for your reply. I’ll check the IP limit since I hadn’t considered that.
Regarding the books, I also noticed the amount of material. However, what raised my suspicion was the lack of information about the author. It’s strange that someone publishes books without having social media pages, websites, or any other marketing presence. I flagged this because I noticed this trend in spiritual and other niche, and I know that there’s a business specifically focused on this.
The book I read is well-written, but it’s not particularly long. It’s mostly a summary of chaos magick with a lot of motivational talk that, in some parts, amounts to more than the actual theoretical and practical knowledge.
It’s not a bad book; it’s well-written and witty, making it enjoyable and easy to read. As far as I know, there’s no incorrect information (but I’m not an expert on chaos magick). The motivational talk encourages experimentation and trying chaos magick and what’s explained in the book, so I’m not saying that one shouldn’t read it.
However, considering everything I’ve pointed out, the author and the books make me suspicious. I wonder if I’m learning spiritual knowledge from someone who may never have actually practiced chaos magick and is simply summarizing books written by others (or asking AI to summarize them) just for the purpose of making money from the spiritual niche.
I’m not saying that’s the case, but it’s suspicious, so I was asking if anyone knows more about the author or the books. Just in case, it’s simply someone very reserved who doesn’t have an online presence but is actually worth reading.
