I've recently just made myself back to WF after a bit of a break. Can anyone tell me why a majority of posts by the members here all say, "No Longer Open For Further Replies?" Just curious what's the rime and or reason that it seems to be occurring?

On another note, I'm glad to be back and look forward to conversing with all you lovely WF revelers soon.

A lot of the post that I'm referring to we're new members introducing themselves. I simply wanted to say hello, welcome, or please share some for details about what you're interested in if the post was asking for some assistance. Most of them we're less than three months old and hadn't had any recent replies.
Maybe that could have been the reason. The world may never know?

Dam Fuego it looks like you've been Hella busy! Almost 8000 messages, over 3000 reactions. I'd assume the number one active member would have been made staff by now. LOL

Homeless but sheltered (not in the city / county shelter though - though I did go to the county shelter for lunch while selling GCN).
I was doing okay until COVID and subsequent seizure episodes, going through job after job. In short, was in the rent hole for 18k.
So I was then living/squatting in Saline until a literal week long shit storm.
Left there, squatted for three weeks with a friend who is cat sitting for me til spring.
Left there after selling Ground Cover News, wrote 21 articles for GCN.
Living with my folks for the past two weeks, in one week flying out to stay with my Sister and Brother in Law for Winter.
After that, hopefully will be on SSDI.
Been up and down but well. You?
