Dealing with NC Vampirism

So, while I have my own experiences and thoughts on what constitutes vampirism (though as a materialist this generally trends towards active social forms of vampirism), we all have experiences dealing with (sometimes passive-) aggressive vampires and I am curious about your own.

How often do you find yourself brushing up against the vampiric? What forms has the vampirism taken? Did/do the vampire(s) "know what they were doing"? How do you know whether they knew? What did you do in reaction to the situation to "shield"? Is the vampire a "regular side-character"?

To be honest I regularly did it myself. Even as a form of "attack" when I had a lot of younger and annoying colleagues.
I visualized these sort of hentai tentacles (a penis shape to penetrate but the tip has a vagina to consume) going into their heart.

Shielding is awareness imo. In public I have found most people I have come into contact to portraying these traits have no knowledge of the occult. They are creatures of societal programming. To reprimand is within your own volition depending on the situation and who is being effected. I cant speak on those actively practicing this though.
