Not sure if this is considered occult for this forum. But does anyone have any experience working as a death doula or with death in a hospice or anything ? Obviously not serial killers or murders but I want to hear from people who have helped other transition to death. I’ve applied to volunteer in a hospice and it seems the training is very spiritual.

just wondering, theres gotta be occult teachings on death and end of life transitions. What have people experienced?

I recently got back from visiting some family who is very old and is transitioning to end of life. but can still talk and has brain power left. I was trying to come up with questions to ask them about what they’re experiencing. They were most receptive when I prayed for them. I’ve tried sending energy through meditation but not sure if it was a bust or not. Does anyone have Any suggestions of questions I could ask them or rituals I could do to help with this?

I want to learn more about death doula work and end of life transitions. Also trying to escape samsara myself. And think it’s a good topic to explore. Anyways….

10 years in a public hospital as an Orderly , including duties in Accident and Emergency ward ( DOAs ) and the Mortuary .

There is mention about it here and there , recently in the 'Thelema' thread in LHP forum . Also I imagine you will get hits from the seach function on that subject .
