How do you personally contact with deities? I think Im drawn to many but I’m hesitant and don’t feel capable of doing so, maybe Im overthinking it? Tell me your experience!!

You are overthinking it. But don't worry, no shame in that.
My most favorite way is to pour myself a hot tea, sit down and start talking to a deity as if to a friend sitting in the chair in front of me. Sometimes I let some sweets on the table to be shared.
Though there are many ways of communication - meditation, scrying, tarot and pendulum, dreamwork, etc. etc...

Start with your Soul. That's my personal thought. Meditate and ask questions to your Soul, your Soul knows everything. I know that you want to contact the Gods and Goddesses, but start with your Soul first and your Soul will connect you with them. In fact, be close to your Soul because your Soul, is the most valuable Essence that you have. Many blessings!!! Let me know how it goes?
Yes you are overthinking it, most people start connecting with deities with simple prayers, invocation or other specific rituals.
I think we’re all sparks of the divine, so everyone can connect to whatever deity they resonate the most with. You can start with looking for traditional methods for connecting to specific deities, there are no rules set. But always be respectful.

In my experience, a lot of it comes down to preparing myself for the experience first and foremost. Working through blockages I may have in my own psychospiritual constitution that could affect how I feel about any particular working or relationship I wish to cultivate.
Then I find it's a case of simply having an understanding of that deity and its history and context, so I know what sort of 'vibe' to look or feel out for, and how to direct my mind. Pre-established prayers and rituals surrounding it, correspondences if there are any, historical practices and followings, myths and parables about them, etc.
Priming your mind and intellect is a good Foundation to encouraging your heart to open to Beauty.
"To await Thee is the end, not the beginning."
