Demons or Aliens? Different Maps of the Same Phenomenon

One question keeps resurfacing across different fields: are the entities people encounter truly spiritual in nature, or are they something else entirely?

Corrado Malanga, through hypnotic regression, proposed that certain non‑human intelligences could attach themselves to human consciousness, influencing behavior and perception. His work frames these entities as alien in origin, functioning almost like parasitic systems.


Similarly, researchers such as Budd Hopkins described abduction phenomena as a widespread and consistent experience, involving non‑human beings interacting with humans for unclear purposes.


On the other hand, Western esotericism has long spoken of demons, spirits, and non‑physical intelligences operating across subtle planes. Even Aleister Crowley described contact with Lam — an entity that, by modern standards, appears strikingly “extraterrestrial.”


This raises an interesting possibility: are we dealing with different interpretations of the same phenomenon? Are “demons” and “aliens” simply symbolic frameworks applied to encounters with non‑human intelligence?


If so, what is their function? Guidance, limitation, experimentation — or something else entirely?


I’m curious how others here interpret these overlaps between esotericism, psychology, and ufology.

Okay. Frist your sources seem pretty dubious, which is understandable if you cannot experience spiritual worlds and cannot learn first hand how they work.

So what is out there?
Attached to us can be multiple things, but when it comes to parasites, there are astral larvae, that are causing you to feel certain way, good example are larvae of addiction, alcohol, drugs, sex, once you have one, it can be hard to get rid of it. Larvae is not random name, those whoa re able to see them, really see larvae and we have some example drawings... They look like leeches, kind of, their variety in how they look is vast, but basic form is indeed larvae. Not very inteligent, but they will fight you if you don't feed them... once you have them.

There are also servitors and other familiars created by us, imaginary friends, kind of. Once you create such a being, it is of you and if you treat it well, it's very useful and caring ally.

There are also un-incarnated guides, ancestors, animals, etc. etc.

One of the astral travels manuals came with little chart of various astral beings.

Concerning UFO, that's mainly USA thing. Americanos love UFOs and think about them much, so all those kidnappings, most happened in USA, as far as I know. (could be wrong) Though unclear purposes is fitting description if you don't know what is going on.

Not everything out there is E.T. There are pretty terrestrial things, that live in other Earthly realms. Though there are things from beyond out there too. And we can too visit their realms and then we become E.T. from their perspective, acting with god-knows-what intentions...
