It is little controversial, but not that much I think. There is a kind of fashion of people using deworming tablets for dogs in attempt to clean their guts from parasites. What is your opinion? Do you think it is a good thing? Do you actually deworm yourself?

I think if someone suspects that they have "intestinal" or similar parasites it would be much more sensible to consult a doctor, even an allopath.
If you take something designed for an animal you may have very unpleasant side effects / reactions. A "certified herbal practitioner" would be a
sensible alternative as well. Just my .02 Cents.

Dunno if this is relevant but in the course of an unrelated check-up, it was found that I had

in my stomach. It's no big deal, half the population's got them and they're mostly benign. Nevertheless, my doctor decided I should get rid of it and prescribed me some antibiotics. I never felt it, and I didn't notice any difference afterwards so I'm not sure if it was all that important.

Wasn't there a fad for taking deworming medication for horses among anti-vaxxers during covid, or is that just an urban legend?

I'd be careful throwing prescription drugs at something that hasn't even been diagnosed by a physician yet, just on the off-chance that they may improve my health. Would those prophylactic dewormers be the same people who always rail against Big Pharma, I wonder?

Yeah there is a razors edge here for sure. Most of the Big Pharma stuff is designed to keep you on the pills forever, I mean great business model. They go broke if you stay healthy and independent of them.

On the other hand, medicines for dogs like the flea and tick stuff. That causes cancer in dogs because the dose is so strong. Dogs just dont live long enough to get the cancer. Also, a dogs gut biome is much more stout than a humans (they eat raw meat and cat shit).

Id say this isn't your run of the mill 'fuck around and find out' situation. And if its me telling you that... 😂

I mean if you're pooping worms, go get checked out, and maybe cook your meat longer from now on lmao

I'm here for the people. 🤣
