Do any of you by chance see things?

I'm hoping this is the right place to ask this kind of question but I've asked this before in occult threads on both Reddit & 4chan and didn't really get any insightful responses. So by seeing things I'm not necessarily talking about seeing something through the minds eye but rather something that seems to be occurring with your actual eyes or at the very least it seems to be overlaying what you're looking at physically. It's kinda almost like being in a hypnagogic state but this is something I picked up on when trying to learn how to scry. While relaxing my vision and staring off into the distance without a fixed point I noticed what I generally describe as a wavy rippling affect that's kinda like a heatwave, mirage, or leaking gas that distorts where I look at. I've noticed what looks like this faint steam except it seems to lack color and very faint at first. Over time if I can hang with staring at this I've noticed what seems to be puffs of vapors forming. After stumbling over this after listening to videos on scrying it triggered some memories I had as a kid. I was around 6 or 7 and had been exploring an old worn down barn that was on the family land. I was on the second floor just looking around and kinda relaxing til I saw what pretty much fits the visual cues I describe earlier. Does anyone have any idea what I might be seeing or is this a normal thing?

Might be your esp ability, or simply ability to see using third eye or higher senses. (and other names) That's my guess.

Using higher senses needs to be practiced. If it is really ability to see spiritual/spirits, then if you train, the puffs will in time "sharpen" into beings or objects that you now see "blurry."

Hmm no it doesn't really look like that but my grandmother did have those but she also had cornea issues as well. Mine have been checked and that hasn't turned up. I do however have a depth perception issues.

That's what others had guess or that I was seeing ether or the shimmering of the veil or something. I have heard like one or two other sources describe similar things while listening to a Youtube channel called Midnight Broadcast, which basically just reads out 4chan /x/ stories, the one that stuck out the most was dubbed a fae or ghost encounter. Some anon recalled walking past some kids or teens on the street with clothing that looked out of styled and turn to notice them following him which led to him running to get to his house. The interesting part was his father saw the incident take place but he didn't see kids but just describe what looked like a fast moving heatwave. It apparently gave up the chase once he got onto his family land or vanished, been a while so I can't quite recall how that one ended.

Not really experiences anything like that per se but I did see it once without really trying while drinking coffee at the kitchen table and noticed it was in front of the glass door as if looking outside or trying to draw my attention to it. It was already dark by then and it wasn't but maybe 5 to 10 minutes later some strangers drove up into the yard and turned around leaving soon as I went to see what was going on out there. We live up in an area of land where people don't just randomly drive up into it. Now I can say a lack of sleep kinda seems to make my eyes automatically see this stuff even in household lighting but its easiest to see in low lighting but in darkness is generally the best way to do it without any strain on my eyes.

I have had an experience once where I had taken 3 THC gummies at once when just taking only 1 the previous night didn't do anything for me. I was trying to relax and the guy that sold them suggested the wrong kind, but it did result in me seeing a full figure made out of that vapor stuff briefly before it walked into me which resulted in my body feeling like it was cold and on fire at the same time. I've also seen shadow figures before and what the internet dubbed "glimmer man" which is just a figure that looks like it's got Predator cloaking over it from the movies. I also occasionally hear strange sounds as well though it's not as frequent. Could very well be some ESP like abilities like ya suggested but with me being so new to this I wanted to make sure this wasn't just something most people who scry typically see.
