I speak out loud, low but clear. I strive for a poetic rightness in my words. I am succinct. I assume that detail and specificity is unnecessary. The spirits see the situation as well as I do. My words are less instruction and more spark of volition.

Depending on the method, it's either easy or complicated.

I got tired of the authoritative type of spirit relationships when I did Enochian. Felt too business-orientated and transactional. Ended up simplifying it by treating them like friends. Not unlike how you would invite a friend over to spend time with you. I have what I have, I'm doing what I'm doing, and I merely offer space for them to partake or join me. If I'm doing magic, I extend the offer in them joining me in their capacity. I've discovered more of their abilities by leaving it open-ended than I ever did by commanding them to do a specific thing.
