Do you think Trump is a practitioner ?

Taking offence is way too bothersome for my delicate nature. You can't really be too secure in your knowledge, though, if you find within yourself enough fervor to flaunt its supposed superiority so blindly.

Well, now you got me interested again ; you are too delicate to be offended ? Curious .

Its not actually my knowledge regarding 'Mr. T . ' ; its rather 'self evident' . . . 'on the record' as they say .

It was a joke, of course. I'm not offended, I refuse to waste time and emotions like that.

Yeah, mostly, but I didn't mean what you said about him.

The hugely excessive focus on money and commerce is what may take America down. I noticed very much so that in America learning and knowledge is seen as a commercial.pursuit.

Back in the good old days ( what we Called the 'Whitlam Era ' - we and I got free University education. We also got a lot of other free stuff ... why ? I was actually surprised myself , so when I was at the University enrolling office I asked the clerk ; how come all this is free . I will never forget her answer and it has stayed with me ever since ; '' Because the better educated everyone is in society , the better that society will be .''

Then this monster slowly reared its head to take over ; economic rationalism - urk ! The thing is it ain't economically rational at all ... not in the long term . people also got adicted to 'the short term fix' and that is a result of not being able to follow important psychological principle 3 , for balanced development , ie - learning how to 'delay gratification ' .

It was Einstein who once stated the day science becomes ommercial, it will be the death of science. If "the system" governs what we choose to learn by the enticement of profit and a career, we wind up with big gaps in other areas of knowledge. Great scientists are great only when they are driven by obsessive curiosity.

Yep .... its all over the place . My teacher never charged money for instruction, so I never did . Other students started charging money and changed the teachings to attract more people to get more money ... in BOTH martial arts and magick .

Its through everything now ; a good successful architect was one that designed good healthy buildongs that allowed people to live happy productive lives . Now its about how much money he made , even if hs building caused social decay and crime and was demolished 20 years later ... and so on .

It gets worse in the area of occult science. I cringe every time I see these professional psychics enter a haunted home, basically to earn a crust. It's similar to the evangelical pastors some of whom turn Jesus into a business. Why this came to be I think is a product of the economic system that forces people to find any angle to make money.

Yep ... see my comments above about gnomes greed and avarice .... the world economy suffers most of this malaise . I never chased it , instead I chased what makes me really happy ... and I dont mean superficial happiness . I 'invested' in things that lead elsewhere ;

These days people are especially vulnerable to conspiracy thinking and will follow media channel leaders. These people will state how we never went to the moon but lack any science background. So, there comes a point where profit can erode a society. Trump is clearly doing his best to pull his country out of decline but he's also totally dominated by profit and the market. From where I stand it does seem the entire western civilization is sinking under its conflicted social structure.

Yep . It looks a bit like the Roman Empire did .... just before it cracked open .

I'm skeptical of ghosts, but maybe that's because of the TV presenters going around buildings with EMF meters and acting shocked when the lights blink red, like they're Ghost Meters.

I agree. Free education benefits society. When we commercialise education, people then are led to choose what profits them. This is what happened. I chose Russian in 1989 because suddenly it was considered a possible advantage, due to Gorbachev and Perestroika. Once you.got some grades and were accepted, that was that. Then, around the year 2002, all.these departments closed since students had to pay. So, students were choosing I.T. or Political Science or whatever offered a safe way to possibly pay back debt. The system got overly practical assuming human beings should learn skills to make capital and be successful. Now, it seems here we have in the U.K. more of a third world economy and a huge lack of brainpower in political circles. Same applies to management.

I saw the film Insidious and cringed. Why are ghosts supposed to get their proverbial knickers in a twist over a cross? The psychic investigators were going on about upside down crosses mocking the trinity. Yet, the trinity is a far older symbol than in catholicism. Then they advise to get the children baptised and a priest to bless the house. All very stereotyped, I thought. The Roman pagans resorted to the Mundus Cereris, which was a hole dug around the problem area and sealed to confine the negative spiritual energy. No crosses back then as Christianity needed a few centuries to get established.
Anyway one psychic investigator went for an oscar, clutching her chest on the stairway and detecting a heavy presence. I believe in psychics but am very wary of It becoming a business.

Any reasonable balanced person would be . However one can get their own experience 'in the field' instead of the 'armchair' (watching TV or reading about things ) .... I used to be skeptical of ghosts myself .

We were discussing this today. I only saw one ghost in my life and I took him for a real person. A man in overalls in a steelworks, during a closed holiday period.
The problem I now have is in my research into whether spirits really exist, or whether they could be natural television type images, bounced through time. Sure, I know very well the ancient occult classifications of daemons, spiritual beings said to mediate. That doesn't prove they exist and, even tougher, the argument for our existence carrying on in a spiritual form has been disputed for centuries. The truth is I do know psychic experience is real but I don't know what ghosts are. Certainly they have been seen for centuries, (even Sting the musician and his wife saw an apparition).
Then, we have the UFO abduction phenomenon. The most convincing story I heard was from a policeman Alan Godfrey in the 1970s. Many other accounts, however, such as Whitley Streiber's Communion seems like undiagnosed sleep paralysis.

If they are a television image bounced through time ... they can (or the one I was talking to ) can hear the music currently playing and comment on it and interact with you in the moment . My experience was active and 'in the present ' - not just an image or a thing fully concerned with some other events ... she was 'in the moment ' ( and a lovely pleasant old lady .... that was affirmed by someone else that had communication with her I didnt know about . When we finally compared notes this other person commented '' ... and isnt she a nice lovely old lady .... she seems to radiate calm and 'niceness ' '' - exactly my feeling as well .

My experience was the ghost I appeared to see seemed to be visiting the location and recollecting. Apparently a worker had died there. However, I try to stay scientific and cannot say what happens after death.

thats man can't survive without having full time staff to make him feel like less of a failure daily that human printer woman comes to mind. some one with that fragile of an ego wouldn't have what it takes or the discipline need to better himself until he does. all he can do is cheat at golf while sitting himself and dreaming of all the kids he raped. One of whom may very well be the reason hes constantly shits himself.

What’s the police mans explanation for the alien abductions?
vops can be pretty slimy but a lot of the ones I’ve interacted with on a personal level have some really good insights into different things, not just criminal behavior.
