I wanted to ask this since I'm conflicted on the internet it says that the lesser banishment ritual of the pentgram is meant to cleanse your energy, impower your magick, and put you in the mindset for magick, but I asked some witches who claim that it does banish people. So which is which ?

LBRP is meant to cleanse your energy. When you search for it, you will probably mainly find this use.

If some witches adapted and use it for another purpose, that is their way and if it works, so be it.

well I do think if you were hanging out with a group of non-occultist friends and suddenly started to do the LBRP, they would most likely be very weirded out and leave…so technically it could be used to banish people but probably not in the way you’re thinking lmao

Both. Its short term effect is to prepare you for ritual. The long term effect has the reputation of removing unwanted people from your life.
