im in a muslim household, and they play/read the holy book (quraan) alot, especially those ones that drive away devils or witchcraft, would it affect my spells in any way? cuz i did a few spells and they didn’t work, i think that might be a problem? i dont believe in islam anymore, but i still cant shake off the feeling especially i have been told since i was a kid that the ‘holy’ book erases witchcraft or spells that has been casted

so im kinda confused if it effects it or not

Being around family who practice Islam won’t erase or block your spell work. Religious texts don’t override your personal spiritual path unless you believe they do. If your spells didn’t work, it’s usually due to focus, energy alignment, or the method. You can practice your path confidently.

It won't damage your spells, no matter what you do, but living in such a household will subtly influence your mind and thoughts.

The energy there is contaminated and you have to go through it every day. THAT is exactly why you can't shake off the feeling you mentioned. You are not thinking clearly for yourself yet.

yes, I realized that when I moved own my own from a house full of religious shit. The thoughts started becoming more "mine".
I also advice for Spiritual cleansing daily and more hardcore Spiritual cleansing once a week. It's the same as hygiene.

Religious practice on a site (or land) can affect magical work, but it is more complex than blocking witchcraft. It can make some systems easier or harder to work with. You can experiment by going somewhere away from your house and trying the same workings and seeing what happens.

Regular recitation of the Quran (or other holy books or religious practices) can help keep a space energetically clean which is good if you are practising magic. The last thing you need is to attract a ton of parasitic entities or something.

There are many witchcraft traditions that mix witchcraft with religious practice. It's not uncommon for witches to work with Catholic saints for example. Traditions and religions mix, I'm pretty sure there is Islamic magic as well though I have no idea what it's called. I think I remember something about sigils where verses from the quran were being used? Anyway, I don't think one cancels out the other, unless maybe they were actively trying to do that, trying to counteract whatever you are doing. But in order for that to happen your family would need to know about your practice.
