Just funning around, but if Crowley can recommend the magican find metaphor in Alice in Wonderland, they we can do it now with a more modern and more muscular vision with DOOM. The game describes a being that is "male with a human genome" but possesses "foreign bodies of Unknown Origin" A pretty potent metaphor for the Neoplatonic magician: a human body inhabited by a Divine Spark that is "more than just a man"
