It's profoundly unnatural for spirits to be local in space, is I guess the simple answer.

Why Evocation seems more "work" rather than Invocation?

Doesnt bot of them is the same?
I mean, they are not quite the same, invocation is rather simple, it only requires you as a vessel, you need to open yourself only to the energies to enter your own consciousness. Evocation needs a medium, physically to manifest, either smoke, mirrors or any other element, it requires more focus to actually see something or for it to manifest outside of yourself.
Evocation definitely needs more skill and experience and while both can do the same (to contact with entities outside yourself) is not the same to make a call, than to arrange a visit.

Smoke, mirrors and stuff like that can help, but they are not required. You can evoke an entity into a defined space and still perceive it through inner vision, as a presence in the room, changes in the atmosphere or through images and words. A full physical or clearly visible manifestation is far less common.

What makes it an evocation is that the entity is approached as a separate presence outside of you, where as invocation brings the entity or it qualities into or through you.

I also wouldn´t say invocation is automatically simpler. It requires a different kind of control, but either one can be just as difficult/easy as the other

Neither is easy, though it’s certainly easier to tell when the former fails completely.
