Energetic 'Feel' of Jinn

Hey there. I'm curious if anyone has had the same general 'energetic feeling' indicators of Jinn.

If you're someone who hasn't worked with these spirits before and don't want to be 'primed' by reading someone else's experiences, I'd suggest you stop reading this post. Just a heads up for those whom that matters to.

For me, Jinn have a more coarser burning sensation, which affects the mid-line of my body mostly, but also an airy sensation. Fire element qualities as the primary sensation, air element as secondary. I don't know what "smokeless fire" means, I try not to have the lore of an entity shape how I experience it. But a courser burning sensation that is also airy is how I'd describe it. Using elemental anatomy, I would say they're beings of fire and air, based on how I feel them.

I use this feeling-sensation to know if I've successfully evoked or not, as it's more visceral.

For anyone else who's worked with them before, I'm curious how you experience them?

Not had an experience yet but interested. What method are you using to work with them?

It depends on what type of djinn they are and what element they work with, it isn’t always fire. All of that can change what their current feels like. Their origin or the realm they come from can factor in too, for example djinns from infernal realms feel very different from other djinns.

I don’t experience them exactly the way you describe. For me it isn’t a coarse burning sensation, it’s more like a low heat, like standing away from a heater but still within its range. I do notice a pressure that tends to sit on top of my torso, and sometimes over the top of my arm. It doesn’t feel coarse or heavy to me. And I’ll also see smoke, either black smoke or colored smoke which seems to be their favorite way of making an entrance.

I used Corwin Hargrove's book for initial contact, and from there like any other entity, you don't need the formalized process, just putting your intention there to connect is enough. Best wishes if you end up taking a dip into Jinn magick, it's quite an experience.

Very interesting, thank you for sharing. I'm sure there's some sort of 'logic' as to why and how entities manifest themselves in differing ways to different people, but it's cool to see some level of overlap. I haven't worked with many Jinn from different realms, I'll have to give that a go and see how it is.
