In the case one is attacked with this, how does it affect throwing pennies for IChing or throwing bones or stones? Would they be defeated or incoherent messages/false cards? It would seem to me these are more random than tarot or astrology, even though astrology also has its laws it operates by, which can only mislead the inexperienced I would think. What is the efficiency of a LBRP against such an entity?

If a querent has reason to believe his or her attempts at divination have been corrupted by an undesired influence, then that person should seek additional help from a trusted spiritual advisor.

The physical aspects of divination are 'placeholders' in the material/physical plane intended to bring out intuitive thoughts and feelings in the divinator. They are used to bypass the psychic censor, so any attempt to apply "rationality and reason" defeats their purpose entirely. One can no more force a reading than one can force recall of a dream one had last night. Dream recall requires a certain state of mind, and so does divination. (Why do you think Modern Magick by Kraig started out right away telling beginners to keep a dream diary?)

Thus, it is not likely to be the 'random' casting or drawing which causes a false or harmful reading but the influence upon the mind of a querent which an entity may have. Warning signs would be fear and other overtly negative emotions. I've read about "foul language" coming from things like pendulums and talking boards, too. Even in the absence of an attack, subjects which provoke emotional stress are likely to cloud one's ability to do a proper reading.

Banishings are useful, but again not everything is an attack from the outside. Sometimes one simply needs to ask for help from a trusted person.

The most common problem is interference with brain-thoughts. There can also be interference with mind-thoughts but sabotaging the brain can be done at etheric and even physical levels - e.g. v2k

Such interference of course extends beyond divination into many aspects of daily activity.

The term "attacked" may be incorrect. Most humans have active and/or passive invitations for interference. This results in various predators managing and feeding off the human.

So you are the one who manage that people waste money on the seller? What a business!
