I am very interested in working with Ereshkigal. There is not a lot of information on this deity. As far as I know there are no modern grimoires or books that deal with her or her cult but I am thirsty for knowledge. My impression is that working with Ereshkigal necessitates a lot of personal gnosis and self-researched/devised rituals, which is something I'm willing to do. I know one can study the primary sources and the Descent myth but I am wondering if there are any hidden gems - be they chapters from books, books themselves, online articles, etc etc., pertaining to Ereshkigal and her current.

And, of course, if anyone has any experience working with Ereshkigal, please share.

of course,
i also found that there were limited resources on Ereshkigal, most people tended to steer clear out of fear. However, while she deserves the fear and respect, she also deserves the devotion. She's connected with death and rebirth, so I found that framing my lifestyle and actions around transformation and growth helped me feel that bond. For offerings and rituals i've used reddwine, i felt it symbolized her character and energy.
obsidian jewlery was another honoring i worked into my life. My prayers usually centered around devotion, passing on, as well as spiritual growth due to her control. let me know if i should go into more detail

I've had strange experiences with Ereshkigal. I had a "seer" pal of mine tell me she was energetically connected to me in some manner. Called herself the "Mother of Shadows" and had syncretic ties to Persephone and Nephthys. I take a fairly Chumbleyan/Sabbatic Craft point of view on these things, so I can stomach this... many traditionalists can't. Nowadays I try to see and connect with the Essence behind the Mask. The Gods of elder times. All that kinda spooky shit.

I've still not had much personal gnosis with this entity/goddess (my "seer" faculties are extremely limited), so I fear I can't give much more on the subject. But for a time, this was a personal obsession of mine. One could say dark goddess archetypes of all kinds still are a "thing" for me.
