In my experience, creating gold or silver plates, bearing talismans of protection, encircling yourself, etc. etc., are unnecessary to a magickian who truly seeks the Black Flame and the left-hand path. Those tools were created for Christians to summon and command cthonic forces without losing their faith or blessings from the Liar-God. Many of the requirements are there also to force the demon to visibly appear in the material plane, which simply is not a real requorement for working, but for showing off and "proving" existence. To make pact, you do not need those steps. You need only willpower and certainty to contact the goetia, and only resolve to make requests from them.
Perform the Headless Rite. Disregard the talismanic requirements, use only the words and motions. The power of memorizing its barbarous words, absorbing them into your being, and speaking them aloud cannot be understated. Then, enveloped in elemental power and in communion with your secret self, simply envision the unsealed sigil of the demon you wish to contact as an entry point into your dimension, and invoke their name. They could appear visibly to you, if they desire, but more likely is appearance as disembodied voice, sudden images in your mental space, or odd sensations in your body. Speak plainly of what you desire, and inquire what material work needs to be done to make it come to be. That is the transaction. Some will ask for offering, others will ask for action, but it is up to you whether to perform them. Regardless of whether you accept their terms, thank them and dismiss them.
If you do not seek to 'compel' the demon through threats and violence, protection circles, talismans of authority, and all such things are simply not required. They are modes of protection for the practitioner who is afraid of refusal, punishment, and abandonment from their own divinity. Embrace the demons you summon in love, for their current is and always shall be a part of you, just as the entire universe is an extension of your soul and your body a finger of the cosmos; do this and the demons you contact will support you as friend and ally.
Does this method leave open room for refusal? Yes, absolutely. Just as a friend and confidant can refuse you an arduous task, so too can a demon unbound refuse a working. I've summoned demons to bring wealth and been refused because my own mindset was not conditioned toward accepting it. It was only after working through those blocks that my petitions became successful. But those refusals gave me the insight to improve my own spirit as needed; they will serve you in the same way.
