Nice. I need to get very familiar with Hebrew and Greek again, like at an academic and occultist level with each.
Then Qabalah old school and new school.
I did finally, after both having a period of hardship, and blindly evoking Duchess Bime, got a job and some cash to tide me over until a candle shortage was over, and finally got 100 tea lights for under 5.00. Unscented at that. (I have Relax oil, Sandalwood, Apple-Cinnamon, and Pumpkin Chai oils). I have a diffuser as well, which I should probably use, or a humidifier if I am going to use water as a gateway to spirit, as I kinda shy away from use of blood as a gateway to spirit, which leaves fire as the gateway.
I did find, as I have a limited color selection of chinatown tea cups, that using an altar layout such as Anna Rivas writes up, where I had two citrine altar cups, a personal orange cup, and a green objective cup (healing ritual); while water was still in each even after burning the petition and putting it in my personal cup, I said "while water remains in my cup, so does my will and the purpose of this ritual". I say something similar before quenching candles.
So, now can use water or fire. Water lasted in the cups about a week until nearly complete evaporation.
