Experiences with Automatic Writing and Channeling?

Is there anyone here who has experience with automatic writing?
I am currently studying some mediums who obtain teachings or inspiration through automatic writing or channeling, and then use this material to develop books or projects.
I would be interested in hearing your thoughts and experiences on this topic.

Easy to cheat. easy to get self-deluded in it too. (a lot of people who do that are probably self deluding, communicating with their own imagination, thinking that they are getting communication from beyond)

Anyone who says that it is easy to channel, is most likely a charlatan or self-deluded person. Quite similar with automated writing, where your own hand is used by some other spirit.

From what i've heard, most people who used automatic writing were historically very high/drunk, I can't find which but there was a french writer who famously contracted an illness which made him mad in order to write better story, at the price of his life.

Prety black and white opinion, to think that there are only two groups of spirts - good and evil.

And whenever spirits work with humans and are not of your religion, they must be evil... What a sad way to see the world...

Could this be a form of channeling?
Why describe it specifically as possession?

When it comes to classification, my yardstick isn't built on dogma. I don’t label a spirit as 'good' simply because it aligns with my faith, nor 'evil' because it opposes it. To me, the measure is far more grounded: those who act with kindness are benevolent souls, and those who sow harm are malevolent. I’d like to think my criteria isn't as dismal as you might suspect; perhaps it’s actually more fluid—wide enough to hold and respect every perspective.

It’s true, she lived a dignified life; she was wealthy and left behind a formidable legacy of silver. But as for where she is now? That is a door I will not open, for it is not in my hands to say.

Welcome, my friend sichevoluzione:; I am firmly convinced she was possessed because those two entities would manifest through her and inhabit her body on numerous occasions. There was even a time when she placed her pen in a "very private place" and covered herself, and yet the pen proceeded to write everything down with total precision. It is impossible for cervical contractions or any related muscular movements to produce such sophisticated, disciplined writing, especially when the handwriting itself was a perfect match. For those closest to her, the entities would fully take over her being, speaking simultaneously from her mouth or even from her abdomen; the most chilling part was their ability to pinpoint exactly where you had hidden a coin or tell you word-for-word what you had written on a scrap of paper in a different room while completely alone. I appreciate your precision.
