I’m currently starting to read J.W. Dunne’s An Experiment with Time to better understand the higher dimensions of time.
Alongside this, I came across Colin Bennett’s work on practical time travel. While Bennett offers a few introductory exercises, I found that he doesn't really dive deep into the practical mechanics or the broader potential of time and space navigation in the 4th dimension.
I’m looking to connect with people who have practical experience with 4th-dimensional (4D), temporal, or atemporal navigation and projection.
Practical Methods: Beyond basic dream logs or Bennett’s surface-level exercises, what specific protocols, techniques, or practices have yielded concrete results for you in accessing 4th dimension?
Results & Experiences: What did you actually experience when navigating on the 4th dimension? Were you able to observe past/future events clearly, and how did intervention or observation affect your daily life?
It will be great to hear your personal experiences, recommendations for deeper practical texts, or specific methods that go beyond the basics. Thanks.

I haven't used these author's methods but I have had training on this in the mystery school I trained in. For me, I was able to see future events accurately sort of. The events would occur as I saw them but the people were presented differently than how they look in real life so that was a little confusing. I was unable to change events, even with practice. Things seemed to "correct" themselves so it didn't seem to matter if i tried to change events or not. They always still occurred. The best I could do was delay an event from happening, but it would still end up occurring.
What do you mean "accessing"? The spacetime is clearly four-dimensional as it is, but there's no special "fourth" dimension, they're completely identical and continuously interchangeable. It's like having a four kilo sack of sand and asking how to access the "fourth kilogram".

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your valuable experience in such an open and detailed way. It is an extremely important contribution to the study I am conducting, and I am grateful for your willingness to recount something so intimate and meaningful.
Regarding what you mentioned about perception filters—the way people appeared differently in 4D—how did you deal with this to decode and translate that information with clarity into dense reality and operate in the present situation?
Another point that caught my attention was the observation that events seemed to "self-correct" and always occurred, even when you actively tried to alter them or could only manage to delay them. Could you tell me why the events happened even though you actively intervened?
With all my respect for you and your experience regarding this specific topic—which, in my eyes, was a remarkable feat you accomplished, even if the events ended up self-correcting—from my perspective on this subject, based on years of study in an Initiation, Psychoanalysis, and Occultism school, and the research I develop, I learned that the key to every result obtained in a situation lies strictly in the "from where" the operation is performed. Thus, your result depends strictly on from where you operated in the situation, both in dense and subtle reality. I hope this input of mine, offered in reciprocity and a genuine exchange (Ayni), alongside all your rich information, can be of some help to you.
I am immensely grateful for your openness and for greatly enriching this debate. Should you be open to delving deeper into this mechanics and discussing protocols more privately—understanding any potential restrictions on what can or cannot be exposed or shared—please feel free to contact me privately.
It will be of enormous value to continue receiving your insights and experiences. I immensely desire to continue this rich study.

Your comment completely ignores the scope of the research, confusing a forum dedicated to esoteric, multidimensional, and spiritual mechanics with a "high school physics class". If you had taken a moment to READ the actual question carefully instead of rushing to display your prepotency, you would have realized that we are exploring experiential, qualitative, and spiritual navigation, and "not quantitative measurements of dense matter or physical metrics".
You tried to anchor your critique in a materialistic framework, comparing the four-dimensional continuum to a "four-kilo sack of sand." But this reveals a fundamental category error: you are trying to apply physical and material parameters to what is inherently a dimension of spiritual existence—which Allan Kardec’s Spiritism and Sacred Umbanda have decoded and explained—rather than a physical (material) one. The fourth dimension, in this context, is a realm of consciousness and the subtle mechanics of the spirit, which has absolutely nothing to do with the physical mass or spatial vectors you are talking about. You aren't even addressing the same subject; you are forcing a rigid, dogmatic, and pedestrian materialist lens onto a profoundspiritual inquiry because your paradigm cannot comprehend anything beyond the physical plane.
Your arrogance stems precisely from this dogmatic and unexamined adherence to a single materialist paradigm. Science itself operates on fundamental assumptions and axiomatic systems that cannot be proven—an axiom is not proven, such as Euclidean geometry—where starting points are accepted without direct proof precisely because they are limited models, not absolute ceilings of reality. Hiding behind a pseudoscientific posture to issue cheap, immature, ego-driven invalidations against spiritual realities contributes nothing to a serious discussion.
This space is dedicated to rigorous, humble exploration and genuine investigation among serious people who truly seek to grow, build, and test knowledge, rather than the petulant, infantile postures of boys seeking cheap validation and attention. Have some basic RESPECT for the people who want to grow and learn something serious, recognize the difference between dense matter and spiritual planes, READ the prompts correctly before saying anything, and keep your unearned condescension out of a domain you clearly haven't even bothered to comprehend.
RESPECT the people who value the subject being discussed.

Advanced research is built on basic knowledge. If you're trying to construct a theory that vividly contradicts mundane facts about reality then what you're doing is fantasy worldbuilding.

A dimension is not a realm because it's a measure of size. Anyone who uses "dimension" refering to a place is fundamentally ignoring the meaning of this word. What even is that supposed to mean? First three dimensions are simple measures of distance then the fourth is somehow a separate space? It's clearly cheap marketing towards midwits who measure their intellectual enlightenment in the number of times they get to repeat words like "quantum" or "dimension" with no interest in learning their meanings.
My "arrogance" stems from genuine, hard-earned knowledge in many fields you seem to be trying very hard to insult. none of what I said betrays adherence to any paradigm.

With respect, but this is an English-speaking occult forum and 99.99% of what you try to communicate will be lost in translation. To help bridge the ethnic divide I recommended spending some time here picking up the Anglophone lingo and taxonomy, and translating into that vernacular, with diluting your own framework , if possible .
I am not an initiate in Umbanda, Quimbanda, or Candomble, but while I know only a little bit about Afro-Brazilian spiritual traditions, I am well acquainted with Kardecist Espiritismo and Vodou.
For Anglos, let me just jump in:
Pai Hugo's Omo Esu is speaking from an Afro-Brazilian/Folk Catholic tradition that is very hard to translate into Anglophone occultism. Umbanda and Spiritism are structured systems with their own internal logic, laws of cause and effect, and mechanics of affinity, mediumship, elemental vibration, but the language will sound very, very 19th century.

While this may not be quite exactly what you are looking for, a game released this year that was specifically designed with the goal of developing individuals' 4D intuition, or in other words, their ability to visualize, navigate and most importantly understand a theoretical 4-dimensional environment.
The game is called plainly '4D Intuition', and I have found it a very mind-opening experience. If the mind can consistently envision something at such extreme odds with our general perception of reality as a 3D environment with no underlying layers, I think it stands to reason those dimensions in the mind exist also outside of it in some capacity, especially when it can be accurately recreated with mathematics.

Thank you for your keen observation and for bringing such bright light to the discussion. You hit the exact core of the challenge: the vast translational gap when applying terms across entirely different frameworks.
To map this out clearly for anyone reading, we are looking at a fundamental contrast in definitions:
* In the spiritual realm worldview, the fourth dimension (4D) goes beyond the physical concept of linear time, being understood as the realm of the mind and emotions and the transition to spiritual life. It is viewed as a realm of higher consciousness, energy, and a subtle realm that transcends human understanding, where past, present, and future coexist simultaneously as a spatial property, serving as one of the bridges between the physical world (3D) and the purely spiritual higher dimensions.
As an example, the medium Chico Xavier, who wrote several books through the guidance of his spiritual mentor, explains that time is not absolute, but a condition specific to each evolutionary stage of the spirit. On the spiritual plane, Earth's rigid succession of seconds and hours loses its mechanical significance. Time comes to be viewed through the lens of opportunity and the intensity of work for the good, where the present acquires permanent value.
* In physics and cosmology, the fourth dimension is strictly time itself within the spacetime continuum (Einstein's relativity, coordinates, or spatial hyperspace like a tesseract), moving in one linear direction.
Investigators like J.W. Dunne and Colin Bennett operated within a historical milieu where they navigated early 20th-century empirical frameworks, trying to map structural exercises of time. But when we bridge their work with true subtle and spiritual dimensions, the terminology requires an entirely different ontological depth rather than a narrow, reductionist scientific box. Especially Dunne—to avoid being labeled a medium, occultist, or spiritualist by the scientific view of that time, despite addressing these very themes in his book—employed scientific language to ensure he was understood and to avoid losing his status as a scientific researcher in the eyes of the era's scientific community.
Your intervention successfully highlighted this hermeneutic layer and cut through the noise.
In Ayni—the Quechua word for sacred and genuine reciprocity—for your luminous contribution and for bringing such clarity to the situation as a whole, if you haven't read it yet, I would like to recommend a remarkable work by Rubens Saraceni translated into English as The Midnight Guardian (with the subtitle The Reality Behind The Midnight Exus), which beautifully details the deep cosmological mechanics of these guardians who serve the Divine Law, upheld by Ogum.
The story follows a wealthy, powerful, and extremely cruel nobleman who "faces the heavy consequences of his actions" after death. Following his passing, his own spirit is trapped within a transformed version of his physical body, where he is judged by the living and condemned by the dead.
What follows is a powerful journey of rescue and transformation as he seeks his lost soul after "breaking Divine Laws". The narrative takes the reader through both dense, shadowy realms and paths of light, showing how a spirit can evolve to become a midnight sentinel serving divine justice—proving that light can indeed emerge from the deepest darkness.
Thanks.
While you mentioned looking for specific protocols, I’ve found that accessing this atemporal state (what J.W. Dunne might call shifting to Observer 2) doesn't always require rigid exercises. For me, it occurs when the waking brain's strict grip on the immediate physical present relaxes just enough for consciousness to detach. When in an OBE state, or during moments of deep but passive concentration, the mind achieves a higher dimensional vantage point.
Literal Temporal Observation
When I navigate or spontaneously shift into this Serialism 4D perspective, the results are completely literal. I do not experience symbolic, hazy, or dreamlike states. I receive real time, high fidelity sensory scenes from the near future, usually lasting only a few seconds but with absolute clarity.
Two concrete examples of observing the near future:
The Classroom: In the University I was sitting in a classroom with no teacher present. Suddenly, I had a complete, literal vision of the teacher arriving late with only a few students in the room. The scene vanished, returning me to the empty room. I deliberately intervened by telling another student exactly what would happen before I left. Thirty minutes later, it played out exactly as I saw it. (The student asked me the next day if I was a sorcerer).
The Roommate: On another occasion, I saw a perfect, seconds long sensory scene of my roommate walking through the door carrying a specific type of cereal and milk. That roommate was not there at the time, I told two people what will happen beforehand. Fifteen minutes later, he walked in with those exact items, leaving the witnesses stunned.
Impact of Observation and Intervention
Intervening by telling witnesses before the event occurs confirms that these aren't cognitive illusions or coincidences, but objective observations of a block universe timeline.
These precognition 4D events could happen spontaneously if you do daily OBEs. When I stopped doing astral projections, only synchronicity events continued daily, and the precognition events were much less frequent.

Thank you for sharing this recommendation. While it might represent a different track from the ontological and spiritual focus of my research, your contribution is genuinely valuable and enriching.
I took a look at 4D Intuition, which is a fascinating exercise in cognitive training. It brilliantly tackles the problem from the standpoint of spatial geometry—helping the brain map mathematical hyperspace, tesseracts, and coordinates that stretch our standard 3D perceptual limits.
However, my investigation contemplates research regarding the fourth dimension within a spiritual concept that goes beyond the physical notion of linear time, being understood as a realm of higher consciousness and energy—a subtle sphere that transcends human comprehension, where past, present, and future coexist simultaneously as a spatial property.
Still, bringing software design and cognitive visualization into the mix makes for a great perspective on how we attempt to break out of rigid perceptual boxes. Thank you for taking the time and contribution.
