Exploring past lives with Azrael​

I have always been intrigued with the concept of past lives, and I do believe in them, but I find it hard to delve into. Everybody was Cleopatra right?

Because it's the time of the year for all things dead, I decided to dedicate a ritual to Azrael for this Halloween to help me remember / show me previous incarnations or hints about them.

If you want to do it as well, get a small black candle + some dragon's blood incense, a small mirror and either a marker for a white board or a lipstick (something you can draw on the mirror with and wipe off later).

• do the LBRP or a similar opening ritual of your preference​
• light the small candle and state that you burn it for Azrael​
• light the incense and state that you burn it for Azrael​
• draw the seal on the mirror whilst speaking his name​
• lay down on your back and hold the mirror in front of your face​
• state in your own words (maybe with a little rhyme) your goal​
• now slowly recite the Psalm over and over until you feel you are entering the trance​
• look past the seal, past what is behind your reflection and put away the mirror and close your eyes​
• if you want to end this: thank Azrael for what he showed you, state that there is peace between the both of you and that you will meet him again someday but that for now you return to the realm of the living​
• pick up the mirror, focus on the feeling of it in your hands and then slowly open your eyes and exhale​
• wipe the mirror clean, do the LBRP (or similar..) and let the incense and candle burn up​

Cool ritual, Yazata. Though I have trafficked with various psychopomps, I had not thought of such a direct approach as this.

I have, so far, recovered five prior existences using a "remembering backward" method partly inspired by Castaneda but mostly inputs from my parents' brief stint in Scientology. None of these "memories" explain to me why spirits I have conjured seem to indicate I am "picking up where I left of, so back to it then". But they speak in riddles...

I was never anyone famous, but I do vividly recall attending a stuffy and shuffling "meet and greet" with Maria de Naglowska that I did not think impressed me much at the time. I stayed for the orgy that followed but slipped out in complete confusion, though I think the experience was a marker for further experimentation by Management (aka "They Who Get Around").

I know Crowley recommended this approach of remembering / going backwards through your whole life untill before birth and the life before this one but I never got that far.
As I said, it absolutely fascinates me but I'm a skeptic by nature and I also always want to try doing things my way.

To look at past lives I slide back along this timeline until something jumps out. Sometimes I am prompted with a year (e.g. 1752) and when I go to that time a scene emerges.

Places I am drawn in the physical world are often familiar - e.g. Greece felt like home

Thank you for the share. I will be trying this soon. After developing through meditation I am receiving more random memories again. Like remembering being very little and experiencing memories outside of my life. In fact, past lives was on the key reasons I explored spirituality.

I've had my own magical experience working with Azrael, and I wouldn't say he reveals things about a past life. On the contrary, he banishes sins, imperfections, and anything dark from this life, and drives away certain dark or demonic creatures who are very afraid of him when he appears.
