Hello to anyone who reads this—
My name is Harrow. I'm a magician who started my more directed study and practice with chaos magic, and who maintains a particular interest in cybernetic meta-models even as I branch out into new-to-me styles of witchcraft, 'cultural magic', ceremonial grimoire work.. I'm interested in perceiving and working with spirits, energies, magical creatures, deities, sentient ideas (one of my 'guides' is Max Stirner), and so on.... I'm also interested in arriving at or divining a really, really satisfactory purpose for doing so—one which is entirely 'my own'—beyond that of its own sake. Actually, I'm interested in helping people, but that's also sort of its own thing. In my practicing, generally, I'm in a 'figuring things out' kind of phase.
I've always really only lurked on forums and on online generally, but I'm making an effort here to participate. I'm working on remembering to bring a relaxed, present, and grounded Self to the act of posting and replying. I would like to get to the point of having one of those quote things at the bottom of my posts (is that a thing here?). I look forward to co-learning and co-operating with you all (not just whoever reads this).
