Michael Cecchetelli's book Crossed Keys includes the grimoire The Black Dragon, which has a few spells for that. Seep pp. 60 - 62.

  • To Win at Gambling
  • To Win at the Game of Dice
  • To Win at Gaming
  • To Win Every Time at Lotteries
I haven't tried them yet, but I'm thinking about it.

Does this book require animal abuse or sacrifice, or anything just as unpleasant?

What copy do you recommend?

In some cases the The Black Dragon does call for animal sacrifices, but none of the spells I listed above do. I share your concern, no animal needs to die just so I can cast a spell. However, people on the internet discuss workarounds for the animal sacrifices in the PGM, so there may be workarounds for the animal sacrifices in The Black Dragon too.

I recommend Crossed Keys, it's the only copy of The Black Dragon I own. It also contains The Enchiridion of Pope Leo III, which is oriented on using the Psalms and pentacles. I haven't read it from cover to cover yet, but it seems like a great little book and it gets rave reviews from people who have practiced it.

There is a thread about substitions here; PGM practitioners often use clay models instead of sacrificing live animals, or so I've heard.

Additionally, there's the (pretty lightweight) "The Magick of Fortuna: Luck, Fortune and Wealth Magick" by David Thompson in the Library - the mega link is dead but there are two copies available both on annas-archive.org and welib.org

I don't know how I could have forgotten NAP:
  • Incantation for Winning Contests
  • Invocation for Money
  • Chant to Bring Success

Excellent, thank you. Golems are traditionally made of clay, so that sounds like a good idea.
