The point is for a short invocation of divine names, we are using partial cherry picked verses to support our goal.
Do in hour and preferably day of Mercury.

I know this is not traditional Hoodoo as far as I know, because I am new to candle magic and hoodoo myself. And just like mixing herbs together and saying verses, there is a process, a foot in the door by waking herbs .. still unlearned on the subject. However, said in repetition, many verses will cause things to shift in your favor.

PROSPERITY VERSES

Where words like he or him are concerned, you could substitute a target name, even your own.

This may or may not be Hoodoo specific, but one thing I know is that in height of ritual with these verses stated, my spirit stirred. So with frenzy of ritual and steady read through of these verses, what ever you use these for, it should add power to it.

One thing I need to do is to bless and wake my herbs. Very important step I missed because I hadn't read Hoodoo Herbal yet. So. Hope this helps.
