I have been reading about Gnostic Voudon (Beth, Palamas, Vameri, Bertiaux) for a few months now. I'm interested in advancing within this tradition, but there are a few things (ambiguities) I need to discuss. For example: why do the hot points (puntos calientes) sometimes appear as a physical dimension and other times as something on the mental plane? What is the definitive map of the hot points? In what way do those points then function as a space of possession for the les vudu?

If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

Warned: do not cross post the same thread in multiple sections.

Not my system, since my Vodou background is a bit more trad. My hougan was negative about them, but he did say once he liked the Lucky Hoodoo families of their section in the VGW. I like them becasue we share a similar vibe, but otherwise have no firm opinion on them or their system.

Allen Greenfield happen to like and he is initiated in that system. So is Marco Visconti

Okay. Another story about Voodoo. The mistakes I made with this practice were endless.

Oh, found it. I was thinking abut them recently because some of their members overlap with some people and practices I Iike.

I have really been into david beth's stuff lately. I have the vgw too and did the initiation ritual. Maybe that explains why I am much more interested in voudon lately. I am trying to get the pdf of Beth's voudon gnosis on here but I still can't access it. Maybe after this post I can!

I read Beth's Gnostic Voudon; it's good, but it doesn't clarify much. The one by Tau Palamas called Syzygy is much better. There are other disciples as well. I need to save up money to buy the 4 volumes of the 4 courses they published a few years ago.

I'm referring to the Monastery of the Seven Rays courses. Here in the books section, Beth's The Black Pilgrimage is available for download.
