I have been interested in Kabbalah for some time now. I have practiced many different paths throughout my journey. Most notably the Tree of Life and am currently going through Peter J Carrols syllabus. However, the Tree of Death has always peaked my interest.

I will assume you have Hermetic Kabbalah in mind as Jewish sources assume Zohar prerequisites.

Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic by Thomas Karlsson is a decent introduction.
Kenneth Grant expanded on the subject and wrote quite a bit.
The infamous Book of Sitra Achra.
And of the books that is actually on my reading list, The Tree of Evil by William G. Gray.

Keep in mind that that these authors are biased to their very own tradition. Each of them included their own unique perspective when writing about the Klipot.

Recently, AD Mercer wrote a book on the subject called Sefer Ha Sitra Achra. It may serve as "pure" introduction to the topic. I am not sure as I didn't look through the book. Jewish sources are the only true "authentic" reference when it comes to this topic and not much is translated.

I would disregard all other "modern" books addressing the subject due to the "edginess".

Surprised and disappointed that this inquiry has received so little response so far! Alas, I agree with Milton's recommendations and will provide a few other titles I have in this category, not all of which I have yet had time to read as I have not undertaken focused study on this topic yet but have explored the framework and resources in preparation. Currently caught up in Egypt...

Publications may have foundational backgrounding, history and theory or may focus on applied praxis, either as ritual instruction or personal practice journal. Depending on your aims and interests, one or all may be beneficial.

2022, well-received. I requested this book on WF here

Crowley's Liber 231 may be of direct interest; Liber 231, also known as Liber Arcanorum, is a text by Aleister Crowley that presents sigils and verses associated with the Qliphoth, often described as the "dark side" or inversions of the Sephiroth on the Tree of Life in Qabalah. Each of the 22 paths on the Tree of Life is linked to a corresponding Qliphoth. Liber 231 provides a framework for understanding these Qliphotic forces by presenting attributions for them, including their corresponding demons or spirits, and their unique characteristics.

Based on Crowley's Liber 231

Kenneth Grant and Linda Falorio are authors who have expanded on what Crowley developed:

Author is regarded by many; I have his Lamastu book and find his writing perplexing; copious research and a veneer of scholarly conventions but sorely needing a qualified editor. I could not finish Lamastu due to the writing.

Strange and interesting Tarot deck and guidebook; I actually use this deck in combination with another tarot deck. This approach has yielded positive results for me.

As mentioned, there is has been a steady stream of publications by other authors targeting Left-Hand Path approaches (Mason, Ford, Kerval, etc.). I have amassed a fair number of these publications and might consider light browsing these after I review some of the more foundational texts above to determine if any enhancements or add-ons might aid understandings and/or approaches.

I hope this topic receives more attention and you keep us informed of your progress.

The book "Tree of Evil" by William G. Gray is currently available as "Exorcising the Tree of Evil". Jacobus Swart now owns the copyright and has republished it with a lot of typos. I have it, and it contains Qabalistic methods for exorcising self-evil. I've read it, but I've never done the exercises because it's not really my cup of tea. I think of it as a Qabalistic approach to shadow work.

I have no idea if this qualifies as good, but I was poking around on Daemonic Dreams' website and discovered this:
