I would like to learn more about the basics and different pathways and types before I fully invest myself into it.

Welcome to WF. I hope that you make good connections here and I would also recommend the library here. Though, try not to get overwhelmed. There are endless spiritual paths you can take and no matter what anyone says or how experienced they are it’s important that you stay true to yourself and pick or forge a path that is right for you regardless of how old or new it is. What truly matters is how meaningful it is to you and does it bring enchantment into your life. As long as you are having success on your journey and content, no one else’s opinion matters. It’s your journey after all. I hope that it is beautiful and enlightening. Good luck.
