Hello I am new I am interested in tarot, divination, yoga, nature/earth spirits, and practicing presence to help my mind.
Id like to practice more meditation and research more serious ritual/spell work even just like small daily practices stuff more charm to wake up to, also ancient religions and their figures. I feel as if I have a lot of spiritual loose ends

Right there with you in interest in the ancient religions, have been to more ancient Hindu/Buddhist temples than I can even remember, but found Ajanta, Ellora and both large and small ones in Trichy, and Karajaho mind bending, walking in pathways worn centimetres deep by millions of bare feet over hundreds or thousands of years. Even taught myself to read and write Hindi at one point, but now all lost to the winds of time Im afraid!

this is gorgeous. I'm very fascinated by Buddhism and wonder if you have any readings you'd recommend on temples/their histories or construction. Or a most beautiful place that still sticks out to u

Depending on what you find interesting about Buddhism and which traditions you find appealing, I'd be happy to recommend some introductory texts

Buddism isn't my primary interest, but you'd love the ancient rock cut Buddist temples in Ellora and another set near Ajanta, which can both be visted by coach from Ajanta which has a railway station, and a nice government run hotel which can set up the coach trips for you. I am however going back almost 25 years, so the Internet will probably make it a lot easier. Depending on what sort of budget you have, there is always the option of hiring a car and driver, but second class train travel is a joy too, you meet the most fascinating people, doctors, teachers, most want you to get off and stay with them but we never felt safe doing that and always had time constraints.
Just be prepared for the culture shock of severe poverty and phenomenal wealth sitting side by side everywhere from Mumbai to Ajanta and remember India can be a dangerous place to this day. I travelled extensively with my late husband as back packers from as far south as the tip in the south and as far north as Haridwar (one of Hinduisms seven holiest places) over 7 visits.beteen 1999 and 2007. The last time I was there was 2019 when I took his ashes to Haridwar and did the whole Hindu ceremony at the nightly aarti to Mother Ganga, which had the feel of a soccer match with thousands of people lining both banks while I said the words and let the aahes fall into the river.
You could even visit the bodhi tree Budda sat underneath, but all these years later as a 65 year old I forget the details of where that is.
Sorry for the essay answer but India and it's history is an obsession with me.
