I have been on this journey for over two decades and I have lost count of the egos I have built and obliterated. Presently, I build them, utilize for a given set of goals, and then let the flames or crushing gears consume; rinse and repeat. It is like an endurance run through samsara, except I am running within a single lifetime– and I do not claim or reason there is another following it.

Whether life ends, recycles upon itself or something else awaits beyond, I continue the process of ascent while I am. It is precisely the process I value, rather than any golden absolute success. Every victory trumps those before it and every milestone is a level of extreme, more so than the prior. Eventually, even up begins to lose meaning; it’s just one foot placed above the other– and maybe that continues forever or maybe it ends at the last heartbeat.

To say I am left hand path is misleading, so I will instead say that I use left handed methods to climb. Likewise, I reason I also use right handed ones, though the core of my praxis is decidedly left for the nature of it. Practices such as the slaughtering of sacred cows, challenging social norms, exploring taboos, and engaging in a kind of everlasting and hash alchemy of the self, exist as cornerstones of my work. Likewise, stoic and acetic disciplines, along with a kind of askesis, adds a thorny nature to what I do and why it works.

The days where I conduct long rituals into the night to know or manifest whatever are behind me, for the greatest magic I know is that magic of enabling continual growth and transformation. Then, magic itself for me is less about causing change in accordance with will and more, shifting the sliver of reality I perceive at any given time. It is less about manifesting and more about choosing not to collapse the waveform; it is to let the cat be a multitude of things, including not in the box at all.

Furthermore, while I am sure plenty come here in search of quick fixes, financial success, love, hedonistic pleasure, gnosis or to BALG, I am not such a creature. In fact, if I said I seek to become a god, this would be a lie. I simply seek to continue rising above my former self– and perhaps in the doing, I shall achieve whatever godhood is.
