So baphomet reached out to me. And was wondering if anyone else worked with baphomet before and would like to know what to expect, how to worship and also what offerings I should give

In my experience, OG Baphomet (as Eliphas Levi created it) is like a magickal archetype to represent the magician.

You can basically use Baphomet as a map/guideline and meditate on the attributes it as (the five elements, the androgynity, the hand rising and the hand down...)

Baphomet is an alchemical symbol and represents the union of two opposing forces. Their union in a human is encompassed by the expression "chemical marriage." In this sense, Baphomet is not much different from Mercury. It is an androgynous figure as a manifestation of the adept's inner unity. Hence the expression "integral" man. Therefore, Baphomet is a symbol that denotes the status of the adept, and it is not some spirit or entity. Those who are in contact with an independent being that presents itself as Baphomet should think carefully about who exactly they are communicating with.
